Wanted: Jalen Carter

That cop is indirectly responsible for the deaths. I hope it eats at him for the rest of his life that he was caught being a jock sniffer instead of enforcing the law like he's supposed to.

Change my mind.
Absolutely. I didn't comment about it because I wanted someone else to state the obvious. He was going 89 in a 45. We all know that he probably was going faster than that at some point. He should have been brought into jail. He should have had football punishment. Instead, a staffer handled that pesky traffic citation and he got away with not even really a slap on the wrist.

Also, what in the hell is a car dealership giving a dumbass like that a 700hp trackhawk?

You misunderstand what the course was. They anticipated me joining Stingtalk. It is basically a course teaching me how to deal with the tards on here.
It's a cookbook!

Forgot the name of the fixer, a uga employee who is the first person police call when a uga athlete is in trouble. He was on the scene that night and tried to mitigate the situation, but failed this time. I'm sure all schools have such a person, including Tech. Kirby is probably going nuts with this getting national press.
His last name is Gannt. I forget his first name.

SPOILER ALERT:

Nothing is going to happen to Carter.

Nothing is going to happen to ugag.

You're welcome.

Yep. Nothing. People in Athens are just keeping low. They know it's a mess but they don't care as long as they win. Period. Now if Smart was 7-4 or worse then there might have been more pressure to do something.

The fixer paid the citation - literally no consequence for Carter other than the annoyance of a traffic stop

This is the first I heard of Gant cleaning up traffic tickets for players and Carter’s reckless driving history.
is this not a clear NCAA violation? if not, seems like it should be. i guess you could use a guise of they're family friends outside of the university's sphere? but i bet exact amount of fine showed up on a Gant expense report and was paid by university[sic]

How do I @ Mark Bradley? Let’s get a records request on this guy’s expense reports

Well the cop outright admitted that he's complicit in leniency for the UGA students and that following the law would likely have prevented deaths. Any one of us caught doing 89 in a 45 would be taken to jail and not be allowed to drive for a good long while.
You're only a criminal if you're not connected, or have a ööööty lawyer.

The Super Speeder Law in Georgia became effective in 2010 and it defines a Super Speeder as any driver who is convicted of traveling 75 mph or more on a two-lane road or 85 mph or more on any road or state highway.
