We are going to a bowl

Is the water safe yet?
No. In some areas of the city it is drinkable. Other areas, no. They're saying it's ok to bath in but not drink. It's an absolute joke. It's been going on for more than 2 years but the state tried to cover it up. It just got national attention this year. For me personally, it's killing my income. I own close to 100 rental properties in the city and I'm having a hard time keeping them occupied. Add that to no jobs and one of the highest murder rates in the country, I see no way this city will ever bounce back. And no I do not live in the city.

I actually had a full scholarship to go to what was General Motors Institute that became Greater Michigan Institute and is now Kettering. Flint is a mess. If we end up in the Detroit bowl, I'll stay at my sister's house in the suburbs. You can crash there too.

Yes, Flint is a mess and I see no way to fix it. The mayor and city hall are a joke and have been stealing money from the water relief too. Oh, and Thanks for the offer on the slumber party! Might need it after along night at the casinos. Lol

Couldn't someone just come up there and lay some pipe?
The companies that do that are price gauging and funds have come up missing. (City officials are being investigated). It's an absolute joke. For a few weeks it was a media circus but that's came and went. This city is so backwards that the Mateen Cleaves sexual assault case seems to be a bigger issue in Flint.

Seriously, have you ever heard of Danny's Italian restaurant in Flint? Visited there many years ago to help open, and make additions to flow mgt. engineering to what was known as Buick City.

Guy recommended Danny's as great place to eat and it was best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. And, hell, I have eaten at Pizza Hut.

But it really was great. Doubt if it is still there.

There are 4 games on Saturday that could potentially affect our conference bowl ranking:

Syracuse at Pitt 7-4 (4-3). If Syracuse pulls off the upset, Pitt would tie with us for conference record, and finish 7-5 overall. It would depend on how the conference does tie-breakers for bowl ranking, but Tech beating Ugag would give us the better overall record at 8-4.

BC at WF 6-5 (3-4). Wake needs to win to get to 4-4 in the conference and be 7-5 overall. We can finish ahead of them with the overall record with a win against Ugag. If we are both 7-5 (4-4), the bowl committees probably get their choice, but Tech would seem to be the better option, so this game might not matter.

Duke at UM 7-4 (4-3). If UM loses, we have the same scenario as with Pitt: tied in conference, but could have the better record overall with a win against Ugag.

USC at Clemson. We benefit from a team in the playoff.

The scenarios don't look very good for us to overtake Pitt or UM and rise up to the Sun/Belk/Taxslayer/Pinstripe tier, so the #1 bottom tier, Military Bowl, is the most likely. I think they would be excited about CPJ coming back to Annapolis.

Is there a scenario in which we get a bowl against the gaggers? Nothing would be greater than to beat them twice in the same season.

Techs future in a bowl is directly related to if we beat uga. If yes we are energized and the better the bowl. If not the Annapolis bowl sounds great to me.

I think you are missing the Music City or Russell. Miami and Wake don't travel well, not sure about Pitt. But the ACC will find a way to screw us and we end up in the Heart of Texas or Shreveport or smurf turf or nuts thereby proving we don't travel well.
