Whos your top 3 RIVALS?

1- Ugag
2- Clemson
3- Any team that GT plays frequently whose fans co-exist with you and as a result of this there are many animated comparisons between GT and said team. In my case Miami which given the amount of lip I've given them the last three years maybe should be #1.

GT's Top Five
1. UGA - nuff said
2. UVA - Smart - Really Smart. They've still got standards and they own the series of late. And they monopolize tradition > Thomas Jefferson founded the school. He might be the greatest American to have lived.
3. Clemson - orange - obnoxious - South Carolina.
4. FSU - better talent and sure to return to the top of the ACC once Bro. Bobby moves on. *
5. VA Tech - FSU, but with fewer teeth and no chicks you'd do with less than a 5th of Wild Turkey in ya.

UGA's Top Five
1. AU - original - close and relevant from every angle
2. FL - always good - orange - obnoxious **
3. TN - always good - orange - obnoxious **
4. GT - In-state rival with PEEnus envy - nobody wants to hear that kind of chatter for 364 days.
5. Clemson - Might rank higher, but it's no longer an annual contest.

* It won't be CMR - book it.
** #2 and #3 are interchangable. Given FL's dominance over the last 20, they rank.

He gets $2.5 million if for some reason they don't want him to be the head coach when Bowden retires.
DAYum. What a contract! As a passive observer, I'd give him a B- for '07. You?

Good coordinator doesn't always translate to good HC.

1. UGAg
2. Auburn (I grew up a Bama fan)
3. Clemson (I lived through Death Valley in '06)

UGA... Although I'll agree with the natural enemy statement. Numbers 2 and 3 are irrelevant. I'll take a 1-11 season every year if that one is UGA.

The only way Fisher will be the head coach at FSU is if someone steals the supply of Unicorn blood that St. Bobby uses to sustain his life.

1) UGA
2) Clemson
3) UVA
4) FSU - too bad we haven't played since '03 and still havent beaten them since they joined the ACC.

UGA
VT - I never had a problem with them until their fans came to BDS. Complete lack of class.
Cal

How does that work? I mean, Cal and GT have only met once since 1940 (in 1978) and only 7 times overall.

I think you're confusing "rivals" with "teams you hate". I know your pain - I hate the University of Alabama, but considering GT hasn't played them since 1984 I don't think anyone would consider it much of a rivalry anymore.

it said "your" top 3 rivals, not GT's.

1. UGA
1. Ugag
1. Ugay
1. UGaLY
1. mutts
1. pound puppies
1. leg humpers
1. nad lickers
1. butt sniffers
1. hydrant lovers
1. pupcakes

I can go on but I think you get the idea

The ones I want badely to beat:

1- UGA
2- Clemson
3- Virginia (cant stand Al Groh)

The ones that are most important for us to get to the big game:

1- VaTech
2- Miami
3- Virginia

BULL FARGIN' SHEEEE-AHT! Anybody with half a brain would take the reciprocal of that - year in and year out.

Not only would I take the 1-11, if we went 11-1 and lost to UGA every year, I would consider every one of those seasons a losing cause.

I thought of this hypothetical, and it really has me torn. Would you rather Tech won a national title, or Tech beat UGA, thus denying them a national title? The fact that I (and probably more then just I on this board) have to think hard about this should say exactly how much I hate Athens. I'm jealous of Ohio State, not because they beat Michigan, but because Appalachian State did. You know how happy I would be if UGA lost to a D-1AA school? If Appalachian State beat the Dawgs, I'd probably end my life the next day, as I would never, ever achieve that level of happiness again in my life. Go out on top.

To Hell with Georgia.

I didn't watch enough of FSU this year to give his offense a grade, but I wasn't blown away in the few games I did see (against Clemson, BC, maybe one other). I guess the FSU people see something they like, though.
