Whos your top 3 RIVALS?

(u)ga
Clemson
F$U

I am still pissed about how the ACC was divided. First, it should have been North/South with

South:
Tech
Clemson
F$U
Miami
NC St
UNC

North:
UVA
VPI
Wake
Duke
BC
MD

Those divisions look good now, but it's funny to think about how they would have looked back in 2004/05. If you ranked the strength of those programs back then, that south division would have had probably five of the top seven teams, at least. They look fair in terms of competitive balance today, so it's interesting to see how much things have changed in just a few years.

In no particular order:

Southern Cal
LSU
Ohio State

This is a new era people. Step it up.

I'll consider UGA a rival again when their students storm the field and tear down their goalposts after finally beating us. Until then, it's all about the BCS.

I'm sorry, what? How many times have we played any of those teams in the past 25 years? I can think of one time we played LSU - in the Peach Bowl in 2000.

It's not who the best programs are. We're not competing against them in anything other than, very occasionally, for a recruit.

Georgia
Clempson
Virginia Tech

The third has to be an in division rival and I really hate Frank Beamer and his bullcrap Beamer ball and those dam obnoixious fans. If you think from the perspective of who brings the most fans to bobby dodd they have to be third. I hate em!

Man, you folks need to be forward thinkers. The hell with this tradition crap. You're stating in one breath that Miami-FSU is a greater rivalry than Tech-Clemson, when, in fact it doesn't have a long tradition. It is what it is because both of those schools have been playing at the highest levels for the past 20 years (present couple of years excepted).

Well, I'm starting my own rivalries that will eclipse that in years to come. Which teams are playing in the BCS on a regular basis. Bring the suckers on. We need some fresh meat for our rivalries, because when we are in the BCS year after year that means the annual Thanksgiving weekend game is rendered meaningless as we pound them into the ground year after year after year.

Vision, boys. You have to have a vision of the future as it is meant to be. CPJ has it. Why don't you? Maybe Braine was right after all.

Uh, ok... well the answer would still be UGA. They're not going anywhere but onward and upward.

1. UGA
2. Clemson
3. UGA
4. VT (damn thugs)
5. Umiami (punk thugs)

Yeah, we'll keep them from the national title, but we can't really affect the SEC race.
I don't really see any down side to this. Let them be them be the mayor of crazy town, and win the SEC. Keeping UGA from winning the MNC is doing the Lord's work. I openly welcome and whole heartedly embrace this scenario.

Oh sure, wasn't saying there was a downside. I like seeing them lose but beating them in that scenario would be much better.

I think the only rivals for West MFin' Virginia are unburned couches and reading skills above a 3rd grade level.

Dammit. You ****ers just don't get it. It doesn't matter. Of course we keep them from the BCS. DUH. We don't get there ourowndamnselves without beating them. And we're going every single year from here on out. What the hell is wrong with you people?

We beat the Athens team, win the ACCCG, advance to the BCSCG against the winner of the Big ##, Pac Teneleven, SEC West, MAC, CUSA, WAC...it doesn't matter. They won't be there. We'll have beaten a team we always whip up on. No rivalry. It's over. They are meaningless.

Give me another 'um, okay.'

That just means you haven't grasped the significance of reaching the 'next level'. We are not a 'regional' program anymore...like the other schools in our State. Your AD has announced a new era in Tech football and you people act like nothing has changed.
