Call it whatever you want. It’s the right call.
In a way, yes. Think of all the time the staff can redirect to recruiting prep. I think our time is better spent on recruiting since practices are compromised and hamstrung anyway. Who knows for sure but I think there is a clear benefit - not a conclusive loss. Also, the staff may have at least asked the team who may (again, just speculating) have preferred to focus on other things. So not playing in a bowl helps with recruiting??
Would you have felt pride if we accepted a bid?
ftfyShould have bowled, need the MONEY

TouchéI doubt we would have made money going to the type of bowl we would've been invited to this year.
Needed the practice
I'm including Duke, 3 games in like 11 days or so; but hey, it was after like a month off.
More time for both contacts and recruit maintenance. So not playing in a bowl helps with recruiting??
Glad more people are coming around that Collins’ practices as currently constructed are meaningless. That’s ridiculous. The team didn’t just quit. They were plagued by injuries and Covid. The team needs the rest more than they need a few meaningless practices. Let them rest and get back after it in the spring.
