Apparently that was either incidental contact or our player was just helping the guy sitting on his ass to get up. I hope the coach sent that shot to whoever is supposed to be supervising officials and asks why. When I saw that happen, I turned the game off and washed the Accord.

Personally I'd love to see UCF in the ACC. They're a decent school and they've proven themselves vs the big boys. They also have a great fan base, lots of alumni, and a great location to travel to a road game.

It makes sense that this was an AAC officiating crew. I found it unusual how fast the refs were trying to get the ball down. I mean, I know UCF runs up-tempo, but the refs seemed frantic trying to put the ball down. I saw them on more than one occasion run into players so they could get the ball down as quickly as possible.

Very odd game. We are missing way too many key players for Game 2 of a football season.

Yep. If we get the obvious PI in the corner of the endzone, it is a closer game. Not that I am claiming we win, but that game should have been a west coast style shootout.
I do hope we Benchmark (steal) a few of their plays. Some were designed really well. That pass to the corner of the endzone in the 4th for a TD was a beautiful pass and a great play. Right on the money.

Our DB’s need to learn to get a feel for when the ball is in the vicinity, get turned around and then contest the ball. Our DB’s are in position, but are failing at these other areas. Got to Coach this up because they are young and talented.

I would say no, but the bar for the ACC has been set at Louisville. We have no standards. UCF would be much better for everything except basketball.
