I can tolerate most of the crappy things that happen to GT fans.

However, THIS......I WILL NOT TOLERATE.

I will NOT tolerate such a vulger result being implied to our program for ANY reason.


So, here it is:

I recommend you do 2 things...very quickly:

1. Geoff Collins WILL apologize.

2. An immediate ban from the campus on Geoff Collins until AFTER we have hired a new coach for this HIGHLY offensive debacle.

2. I expect an IMMEDIATE and FORMAL condemnation by you of Money Down and a warning to ALL GT coaches that a gimmick like that is offensive.

3. I'm prepared to pursue this issue further with the NCAA if these 3 requests are not acted upon by 1:00 PM today.


I can handle all manner of juvenile behavior on the Flats.

However, I WILL NOT tolerate sticky/smelly/nasty things being IMPLIED to our football program.

Culture. Collins is a guy who watch a "think outside the box" Ted Talk in 2005 and has been expanding the talking points ever since. It was enough to completely sucker Stansbury in. I think a not so insignificant portion of the fanbase saw through this but put some trust in the powers that be that they saw a little bit more. And goddammit it when you're a fan you need to believe because that's what fans do.
