You Can Succeed in Recruiting at Tech

One win in twelve years is a pretty large gap. Who are you kidding? These are the moral victories our alumni keep using as a crutch to tolerate another ten years of losing to UGA. Until we fundamentally change our approach to our rival, we will continue to lose to them.

I think you are missing his point. When a team is in a position to win the game, which we have been in several games over those yesrs. He is saying we have been competitive but, yes, not very sucessful.
Which means we need to step it up in whatever way we need too to win the games.

I think you are missing the point. The talent gap is so large that we overachieved just to be competitive. If UGA is motivated and focused, we have no chance no matter how well we execute. The only time we have beaten those bastards is when we had our best talent in a decade... the famed class of '07 and then the O'Leary exception years at the turn of the century. Sorry to break it to you but we need more talent to beat UGA.

People don't seem to understand this, but it's true. We just need to close the gap some in our talent so that when we do play at our very best, we can win the game. Problem is, that isn't going to magically happen under our current methods.

The schools philosophy is going to have to change. It doesn't matter what coach exists. One win in twelve years speaks to this fundamental problem loudly. Especially when you consider the fact that during this same time we've experienced one of the most consistently good runs by the football program. At some point people have to be wiiling to listen and make changes.

This. Georgia gets 15+/- 4 stars and a few 5's every year. We have no 4 stars (depending on the site) and it all starts on the line. Their lines physically dominate us and D-Line is where our recruiting struggles the most.
