N323P is owned by Paul Bryant, Jr. and he lets the university borrow it from time to time. Could be something, could be nothing. The real question is who was on the plane.

wait, I got it Saban is picking up Strong to be the DC. Malzahn in coming in later on a different jet to be OC.

We don't send PJ around on a private jet do we? I'm imagining him on a Greyhound riding to Maine to visit a 2*.

Personally I think it is unethical to use a private jet to visit college football recruits. Bad for the environment.

not unethical it all. The way stuff goes today, its a lot like how CEOs need to fly private. Its very difficult to fly regular airlines and get stuff done. Imagine if saban was flying delta to get up to kentucky today. It would take the entire day to do one, maybe two stops, all while people surround him asking him stupid questions and for autographs. Meanwhile, on private he can visit multiple locations, troll Texas fans, and make them refresh flightaware the entire day.

Also the people manufacturing private jets likely dont think its unethical.
 
Like I said: could be nothing, could be something. We won't know unless we know who is on the plane. Bryant, Jr. is a big time booster to UA athletics, primarily to football, so I doubt he would just let Nick Saban hop on a plane to go to Austin as well.
