Come down off the ledge.

Please explain? Also, since you know who I am have the nuts to tell me who you are or will you be a coward and hide behind a nickname. A lot of you mother ööööers want to be my friend on Facebook but then come on here and talk öööö, man up little boy so we can discuss further.

PM incoming

So corn dogs name is chris Cornish, yeah you like look a prick. I've öööö turds prettier than your face and whoever is hanging on your shoulder you little funking punk. When you grow hair on your grapes come talk to me until then stfu.

Easy there killer, I said I was PM-ing you.

He was.

Clemson is in the national discussion every year. They seem to wet the bed a couple of times when they are about to turn the corner, but still they are a real power.

They beat UGA at full strength and OSU on a national stage. Not shabby. And they have consistent talent on defense and offense from year to year.

It is premature to declare FSU is "back" because of that QB you mention. We will have to see whether they maintain when he leaves or whether they fall off as Auburn did without Newton.

I suspect Clemson and FSU will maintain at about the same level once Winston is gone. (And I don't think Clemson would get beaten quite so badly if they played again. If they played five times, Clemson would probably win at least one. )

Your point is valid. We laughed at Dabo but the Clemson program is much better off under his leadership than before.

P.S.
On a tangent, Dabo's success is evidence you do not need to be a tactical genius to be a success as a head coach. You just need to hire the right people and be a leader that can inspire others to perform. You can hire all the tactical genius you need if you can identify the talent.

I remember laughing when comparing Johnson's tactical knowledge to Dabo's, and while he is still the superior football mind, it doesn't mean much in building a football program without other things.

Corn dog, I'm not crapping on team, I'm unhappy with Paul Johnson , the mfer wants to leave, I know it for truth, why would you want to keep someone who isn't happy here.

Also, I'm not a celebrity in the Tech community, I'm one of you, you dumba$$. I love Tech, I drink with the best of them but most of all I want them to Win! I'm a f"cking redneck from Ellijay and proud of it and love seeing friends and family when I'm able to make a game, I love the fans and have said that since I left in 86'. Don't make me out to be more than I am.

Confirmation! You just made my night Mover.

You are selling yourself short. You are an all time great at GT and having someone of your stature speak out against the coach damages the program. I don't think what you said was incorrect, but speaking out as emphatically like that does more damage than I think you realize. It sucks the situation we are in, but throwing fuel on the fire does not good but put the program up in smoke faster. Fans look at guys like you with some level of admiration and when those they associate with the program jump ship, it carries a lot of weight.

Paul has lost the locker room, I know that for fact too. Buyout options are under way as we speak whether he wants to be a lame duck coach is up to him.

Then maybe we should have listened to Mover when he wasn't happy with the direction of the program, but all the rest of us were blinded by the quick success of the first 2 years and did not want to believe he wasn't building the program properly.

:frown:

Has he already quit on us? Is he even trying on the recruiting trail or will his replacement have to start rebuilding the team from scratch?

I see an impending meltdown on ST come signing day.

Can Roof salvage this?

I am not damaging the program, we stay on this sinking ship we really should go to the SoCon, I watch it every week I'm willing to stand up and take ridicule from fans for not accepting this crap we have had to watch the last couple of years, mike sewak sucks a$$ as an Oline coach but yet no changes, Paul's f/cking ego won't let him make changes but it shows me he doesn't give a öööö about GT I've talked to friends and coaches across the country and they think he's an a$$ as well and can't believe we have put up with him this long.

Perhaps...

Kinda related (as we've heaped a lot of love on GOL lateley). It is funny how we remember GOL so fondly now, but in 2001, a very disappointing season, the fans were ready to see him gone. He had also "lost the locker room" too and the players were tired of his strict, yell-all-the-time tough-guy act.

I think there are many here who agree with that assessment, but because we have no other options, we have to keep him around for another year. I'm not ööööting out $8 million to buy him out and I don't think anyone else in the fanbase is stroking that check either. Because we have no other options right now, I'm willing to bite my lip and man up and get through another year or two because that is the reality of where we are. That is how I see things

Until people realize this show is only about Paul Johnson then they should get what they wish for. This mfer has alienated everyone but a couple of big donors who get their rocks off because they can say they hang with Paul.

I know for a fact Paul wants out, we are trying to expedite it for him. Successfully I hope, very soon!

Mover, how would you feel about Ted Roof leading the program, you know, in a purely hypothetical circumstance? I'm sure you're friends with him, but would he be able to recruit and compete against the Hill?

Modified.

I've been ridiculed for supporting Teddy and Glenn Spencer before, I can take it. We need them for a lot of reasons and just not for football. Most on here were cuming on themselves for Paul and I was against it, look where that got us. This job is more complicated as you know than just football. We are a fractured fan base that we only know how to fix.
