16 pages in and not one convincing counter to my original assertion that losing our vaunted #2 WR will mean jack öööö to this offense.

but lots of name-calling and circle-jerking!!

+1 for foggy.

All CPJ has done this year is make 2014 look like a fluky, distant memory. And heck, even in his "best year", he still got owned again by Cutcliffe and UNC.

After 8 years, this is what we've got: An experienced OL that can't block, PJ's best QB who can't hit water if he was in a boat, terribly-predictable playcalling, and a last-place finish in arguably the worst division of college football. Plus, we're boring as **** with this stupid prehistoric offense.

They could fire him and hire some young guy for half his cost for these results. We're paying for a Lexus right now but getting a Yugo. CPJ needs to go!​

Our biggest and only real victory of the year was due to our defense, as our dive-filled asinine offense shat the bed time & again vs FSU. Same way it did against lowly Puke and the bottoming-out loss to a horrid UVA team.

I'm tired of the D always getting blamed when our stupid dive-filled offense can't get a yard on 4th & 1 vs Puke nor can't move the ball down the field to beat UVA (after the D stepped up twice to get the ball back).

This offense, scheme, playcalling, and coach SUCKS.

completely. It's embarrassing and, with all the claims that it works with the right people....well, it's mostly stunk up the field against the likes of:
LSU (2008)
Iowa (2009)
mutts (2009)
every bowl game up til 2014 Orange Bowl
VPI, Miami most of the time
Air Force,
Utah,
Puke the last 2 years
etc etc

This offense blows and is vastly overrated due to the blowouts of cupcakes. Yeah, the 2014 Orange Bowl was awesome but frankly, it's a statistical anomaly - an outlier. The vast majority of the time vs teams of equal talent, it ****s the bed.

I too long for the days of my youth, when our impressively coached offense could score 6 entire points against Wake Forest.
 
I'm guessing the folks who graduated in 1992 have higher expectations for the football team since they were in school when we won the national championship. I wonder how it is for the folks who graduated in 1954. Coit?
 
Ramblinwreck92 is smarter than y'all give him credit for. He may not know the difference between an called dive and triple option, but he knows that we don't have a short passing game.

How about you shut the öööö about about our offense not working against UGA or elite teams and look at the facts. It does. Period. Not every single time, but way more than any other team with equivalent talent.

Our offense, which you despise so much, was literally the best in modern history last year by a well-respected efficiency metric, and is well above average every single year.

Want to criticize CPJ? Fine. He's the coach and his job is to win. But GTFO until you can bring logic into the discussion instead of constantly criticizing what is BY FAR the best part of our team.

We don't have a tight end though. All we run is dive. Our QB sucks. We will only win 7 games in 2014. Paul Johnson sucks at calling timeouts. I only post when we are losing.
 
LOL, RW92 blew up Stingtalk last season after the Duke and UNC games, only to go AWOL until the UGA game, where he popped up during the 1st half to bitch about how much we suck. We won, he posted about how the D saved the offense, and then went AWOL again through the bowl game. He was mostly absent during the offseason, stopping by occasionally to explain why our '14 offense was worse than Friedgens and how the option would never work in the pros. Team speed or something. Blueprint. LSU.

Seriously, dude. Your existence as a poster is just waiting until Georgia Tech is down and then kicking the öööö out of them, while attributing any good thing that happens to luck or denying it outright. Not only is it obvious why nobody here likes you - that just seems like a miserable way to be a fan.
 
We had a tight end for this offense in EA Sports NCAA for PS2. I won the MNC ten years in a row in dynasty mode. Not having a tight end must be the difference.
