I thought the committee’s stated goal is to seed the 4 best teams. If you think uga is one of the best 4, they should be in. They shouldn’t be punished because they played the number one team in a conference championship while ND sat on their assload of money cause they are too good for conference play.

I personally believe each power 5 conference should pick its representative by whatever means it wants, and the committee should seed the top 4 out of those teams. But if it’s just about picking the best 4 teams, then ND shouldn’t be there.

Seriously, if I had to pick a team out of the top 10 to play for the championship, Florida would be first followed by ND. And friggin UCF is in the top 10 haha

He should be asked the following question:
"So in your scenario, after Clemson beats UGA in the first playoff game, does Clemson get to play for the national championship or does Georgia get rewarded again for losing because you think 'they're playing better at this point of the season'?"

This argument fails. So every other team doesn’t have a playoff game but uga does? Hey, if it works out cause it’s uga, then great, but it’s a bullshit argument. Uga shouldn’t go because the two best teams they played beat them.

No. Georgia should not go for a different reason. Because they lost. Twice.
So your and anyone else's argument about them being one of the four best teams when others have not lost TWICE does not hold up to logic.

UCF should be in though. Really don’t care
and probably won’t watch the same 4 factory schools duking it out. CFB freaking blows these days.
 
Kirby Smart says UGA should be in because they beat a lot of bowl-eligible teams :bowrofl:
 
Fivehead was on Sportscenter a few minutes ago and brought up the weakness of uga non conference schedule - but only mentioned MTSU, UMass and the pride of Clarkesville.
