He made that much as a head coach. He's probably making just about $1M as an OC.

He isn't making 5.5 million as a coordinator. That's what he was making as a head coach. I also never said that that's the only man Stansbury has or will contact... but IF we hired him without seriously considering other candidates it would be idiotic.

None of this matters, as apparently, the Whiz had the job looked up since the Clemson game. That's what the grapevine is saying.

Yes I did . What I saw was his salary for being HC of Cards. My apologies ! Glad all pointed it out .

Tstan will have to interview somebody else just to cover his ass. Im hoping there is more to the story than what we are hearing.

Basically the cliff notes version.

-Rumor floating around during our 1-4 start that if CPJ is let go, TStan would be looking for a "non triple option" coach. That is becoming true.
-Towards the end of the season, lot of mentions that CPJ may be calling it a day. Let's not forget, CPJ and TStan discussed this possibility a couple of months ago. Rumors became stronger around the UGA game. This is already true.
-As soon as word got out that CPJ was stepping down, Whisenhunt was immediately rumored to be frontrunner to replace CPJ. Unbelievably, well, here we are.

If we hire KW, the “big money alums” better do a hell of a lot more than ante up money to address staff, facilities, etc.

They better get us jock majors, and if need be, crucify peterson
