Idk about y’all, but if Graham is the starter.. I will be completely demoralized. He’s just so bad. I would lose all hope in the szn.

If Graham is the starter, that means he beat out a 4* Elite 11 QB, another highly touted recruit that CDP hand picked for this offense, and a good returning player with a little seat time and good knowledge of the offense. If Graham is the starter, it means he's worked his tail off and on the field results prove it. Don't just go throwing him under the bus.

All that said, I think it's Gleason or Sims.

What if he throws for 4 TDs, no interceptions and runs for 110 yards? I guess that means we should give up on you.
 
I wouldn't get uptight about which QB starts game 1. Trevor Lawrence wasn't the Clemson starter until game 4 of his freshman season. It's very unusual for a true freshman to get the coaches' confidence at the beginning of the season, and they usually don't want to risk the damage to the player's psyche if they don't do well. But I'd love to find out that Sims was impressing them enough to make that call.

But Clemson's returning QB that season had a much better track record than our returning QB this year.

Neither was Deshaun Watson. Kelly Bryant and Cole Stoudt were nothing more than average players, and even they weren't unseated preseason by generational talents.

I think it would be awesome if a true freshman wins the job outright, but that's a lot to expect, IMO.
