2021 Recruiting

"Old" is a direction? I guess we're all headed that way...

Looks like a solid pick up though. I'm all for bringing in transfers as our team is still very young and will be for next year too.

Backward is a direction

So picking up an NFL caliber DL is going backwards? huh.
In fairness, this "nfl caliber dl" is a guy none of us had ever heard of until yesterday and the people calling him that are "coach-speaking" or prognosticating.

That said, glad to have him and the other transfers, just as I was excited about Clayton, Cochran, etc.

Global pandemic and historic transformation of program seems to be impacting recruiting as well. Remind me what this staff does well again?

I’m in Athens for work. Their uGa radio blowhards just said GT had the 45th ranked class

I wonder why team rankings on Rivals (32) and 247 (45) are so different this year. I didn't dig through the past but this gap seems much larger than usual.
I made a similar comment in the other recruiting thread. For whatever set of resasons or factors, 247 generally rated our guys much lower than Rivals - nearly across the board.
