Just enjoy the victory and try not to be such a little bitch
Lol calm down, A lot of what this coach says is hilarious and often indefensible and is worth throwing some snark right back at him. Have some respect for yourself and your team by the way and expect better than squeaking past the 2nd worst team David Cutcliffe has ever had. But nobody lacks a sense of humor like the people that staunchly support Geoff Collins.

What do you want him to say? "Hey, our schedule sucks, the teams on it suck, we shouldn't have to work hard to get this done". He is motivating our players. You don't HAVE to listen to his press conferences if what he is saying triggers you so much.

Calling Duke a top 5 offense in the sport to the halftime interviewer has nothing to do with motivating players and everything to do with making his team’s struggles sound better. Explain to me how that helps the players. What do I want him to say? Be at least somewhat intellectually honest. Keep in mind that he outright lied about the weight of the offensive lineman he inherited just to make his job so seem much tougher and the hill much steeper to climb. Are you going to be perfecly content if 2-3 years from now he’s still saying “I know what this program can be and we’re building in that locker room at a high level?” Because apparently that type of stuff helps motivate his players. Like at what point are you going to want him to be somewhat honest and not get mad at the people who have the audacity to question him?

Just give it a ööööing rest already. Our coach is 110% Tech all the time. I get it, you don't like him. This stupid öööö about repeating what our coach said ad nauseam is getting old already. We know what he said. We won the game. Try to enjoy it and not be such a crybaby, whiney, prick.

Hell, Vince Dooley used to sell teams like Vanderbilt like they were the next coming of the 1972 Dolphins.

Therein is the problem with the Collinsites. People try to ask legitimate questions they dont have answers to other than blind devotion, so the only responses left are the insults. Nobody settles for eating öööö in athletics and liking the taste of it more than some Tech fans though.

So ask a legitimate question, don’t bitch about stuff that doesn’t matter.

Alright, I’ll ask the same questions I asked a few posts ago that the other poster ignored. 1) “How does the wild hyperbole actually motivate the players?” which was the other guy’s claim for why Collins says the things he says publicly. And 2) “At what point will you hold him accountable for not following through on some of them?” End of this year? End of next? Like maybe for us he isn’t succeeding fast enough and our bitching annoys you, but for some of you it appears Geoff can do no wrong. So at what point for you can he begin to do wrong? And for fun, I’ll add 3) You don’t see repeated issues with game management, clock, timeouts, etc that a CEO-style coach should be on top of? These are legitimate questions.

Lol nobody will answer the questions. It’s AMAZING. People refuse to answer the simple question of what it would take for them to eventually not believe in this coach. You can think I’m an asshole, but you’re proving my most basic point by only insulting and not answering. I’ll at least respect the other guy if he answers the questions even if he thinks I’m 100% wrong. I can respect any fan who gives me legitimate answers to those questions.

Read my posts in other threads, man. I don’t believe in Collins very much to this point, but a lot of us that don’t are still fair about UNC being a big win for the program, the Duke win still having value even if Duke sucks. He’s a good recruiter and the talent level is on or ahead of schedule, I just don’t think the coaching staff is very good at coaching the talent yet. Why is that not fair game to the people who adore this coach? Come on.

No, you're just being an asshole. We get it already, you don't like our head coach. No need to continue to play your stupid 20 question game about Collins' not participating in interviews to your liking. Just enjoy a win and get your panties unwadded already, Nancy.

Ridiculous and pitiful that you can can’t respond to one critical question.
Good lord, are you one of those morons? Get this clear in your stupid head, nobody on this board answers to you. Nobody cares about your stupid opinion. Give your opinion that you don't like our coach's pressers and stfu already, snowflake

Well we can differ on the legitimacy of your questions. But I’ll take a shot. #1 it doesn’t matter what he says to the media. Nothing any coach says do the media matters and never has. Have you forgotten Pepper and the crazy öööö he would say? What he says to the team in the locker room does. #2 following through on what? We are improving in many areas, still have issues with OL and DB. Recruiting and time will hopefully solve those issues and Jeff needs to continue to improve. I’m looking for a big step forward next season. #3 give me some examples. I don’t remember clock or time out issues this season.

Indecision and 2 timeouts used on the goal line against NIU after 2nd and goal from the 2, and it still became a turnover on downs. Leisurely taking more than 7 minutes to drive down the field against Clemson down 14-3. The onside kick worked, but without it the previous slow FG drive ensured not getting the ball back. Those are a couple. Look, I agree recruiting has ticked up a lot. I just don’t think that is really showing up in the games. Is it youth? Is the staff ill-preparing them? We don’t know yet for sure, a lot of it is faith on believing or not believing in Geoff and Patenaude and Key and others. If he wins big, I’ll be the first to say I was wrong.
