Tyson Helton was named Western Kentucky University's 21st head football coach on November 27, 2018. The 2021 campaign will be his third season at the helm of the Hilltopper program after producing a 14-11 mark (including 10-5 in C-USA play) and reaching two bowl games in his first two years.

Also, check out Brady Hoke at San Diego State after coaching at Michigan.

We are fast approaching the point where Western Kentucky and San Diego State may be better places than Tech. That may hurt, but you keep this öööö show going and those empty seats vs BC will become commonplace.
 
Gary Patterson? I'd think he could at least lead us back to respectability and if so retire in 5-10 years. Maybe he'll have a competent coach in waiting. What happened to the coach in waiting thing? That was all the rage a decade ago.

I also second Tom Herman. Dunno if he'd have interest but I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Urban Meyer needs an out from Jax. He doesn't need a max contract anymore. The Cheetah is right around the corner. And he will definitely bring Corey Dennis...probably the whole fam damily. Recruiting will skyrocket. Fans will be back. Hell, do it just to piss off the UGA(g) fans.

Interesting? Ironic? Trivia? Chadwell came to Coastal as OC/QB Coach to take over for Patenaude when he went to Temple. He was interim HC before the end of the year.
 
The only people we will hire are new coordinators. And some defensive back coaches.

So let me make sure I understand you. Are you saying you’d support us getting beat bad by UGA if the result is we fire the coach and hire someone else?

We all know we are going to lose embarassingly to UGA. Is it really going to change what we do with Collins however?
