If TStan can’t recognize this garbage

I appreciate this argument. I really do. And my argument is not a “let’s keep PJ” vs “let’s keep GC” argument.

That being said, PH would’ve won more than 9 with this talent over the last 3 years. GC is sitting over here acting like it’s ok that he ööööing sucks. No. It’s not ok.
I don't doubt that Paul would have won more than 9. But Paul wouldn't have had this talent. Many of the current recruits have stated that they weren't really considering GT before because of the offensive system we ran (and that was offensive & defensive players saying that).

Collins has sucked. No argument there. But I will repeat....he has done TWO really valuable services to GT football.
1 - He has recruited better talent. So if/when he ends up leaving, at least the next guy will inherit more talent than he did.
2 - He has proven that it is possible to recruit and keep players eligible. I've been a Tech fan since I started school there in 84 and I had bought into the argument that we just simply couldn't recruit in the same pool as UGAg and others. That has proven not to really be the case.

Paul Johnson was 24-25 in his final 4 seasons. Your statements reek of revisionism if you're claiming "We were still winning".

And let's not forget...Paul quit. He retired. We didn't fire him. Perhaps it was because he knew just how empty the cupboard was for the next year(s).
He had less folks to watch film than duke.

OK. And a HUGE part of Paul's problem was the way he interacted with large $ donors at Tech. He was quite literally biting the proverbial hand that would have fed him.

So we can compete for 5 stars with Bama, Clemson,
UGa, Fsu, etc?

The photo below says it all about TStan and Collins. It appeared in today's post-game AJC article by Mark Bradley. The link to the article is

Obviously it’s time to dab our guys wtf wrong with y’all

That’s fine. Good enuff argument. Don’t know how true or false it is. But this ööööhead is doing all kinds of dumb öööö to embarrass our school

Not defending Collins because his tenure has sucked. But let's not act like he inherited anything like the talent level Johnson inherited. Paul looked at what was coming back and that likely helped quite a bit in his decision to QUIT. Again....he QUIT.

All of you wanting to ride Johnson's johnson need to remember that. He quit. And left the cupboard f'ing bare when he did, too.
I can’t believe people still think the talent of 2019 and beyond is anywhere close to indicative of the “situation Geoff Collins” inherited. It truly boggles the mind how that is reconciled or where such insight comes from other than a coping mechanism you’ve manufactured.

Wait, what? Are you honestly claiming that we had talent when Johnson left?

We've signed more 4 stars in 3 years of Collins than we did during Johnson's entire tenure. So....yeah?

That's interesting, I did not know that. I was under the impression that recruiting was maybe twice as good, but that seems like another world. I don't follow this stuff very closely.

This is a weird argument. How many of us would be over the moon if Geoff decided to quit?

If you don’t think you’ve got it anymore, retire. If I were in my 60s and worth $10M+, I’d probably “quit” too. CPJ is one of the few coaches we didn’t have to pay after he left Tech. Regardless of how you feel about his coaching, we should be grateful for that.

And has Collins interacted any better with them? He obviously has nothing but disdain for the fans. Why would you think he does any more for the big donors?

In case you haven't noticed, our big money donors are ööööing retarded.
