Playoff

It's interesting how the amount of 'eye test' people want in these decisions has swung back and forth.
I want a rule based model. I don’t care how you order or select within group but you can’t select someone from group 2 unless all of group 1 is selected. Of course, I’d much rather prefer a model where all P5 champs make it. And öööö Notre Dame unless they join a conference.
  1. Undefeated P5 champ
  2. 1 loss P5 champ
  3. Undefeated G5 champ
  4. 1 loss P5 non-champ
  5. 2 loss P5 champ
  6. 1 loss G5 champ
  7. 2 Loss P5 non-champ

Yeah I'm all for something like this, that's a pretty good stab at it in fact.

People that want more 'eye test' probably think Georgetown should be nat'l champ even though Villanova beat them. 'They were clearly the best team all season long.' etc.

8. ND ?

No exemption for ND in my model, but if you have to have one, ND is treated like a P5 team.
If they’re undefeated they’re in group 1, otherwise they’re treated like a P5 non conference champ.

Ok 9 & 27 boy. The spiked shoulder pads, you wouldn’t understand, it’s a handful of students out of the 93,000 that show up for every home game, that are having fun with a little team spirit. When they pan the stands at GT your little students and others aren’t even watching the game. Now you go öööö off!

I'm a LV (OAK) Raiders fan, who your moronic spiked-shoulder fans ripped the gimmick off of. It makes more sense for the LV mascot than a bunch of inbred canines. Kinda like your dumb G(reen Bay Packers) logo and your even-worse fight-song "Gloryhole to uga", it's yet-another idea your braindead fans ripped off from another team.

lol enjoy your ban, öööötard. Shove one of those spikes up your mutt ass.

Sure you can. The committee repeatedly says that the rankings are based upon who is playing well now. Well uga got its öööö pushed in by Bama and should not be in the playoff.

And they wouldn't be if ND was playing now. But they're not playing now.

Except ND plays far from P5 schedules each year (insert ACC joke here). Outside of ACC schools, they played Purdue, USC, Stanford, Navy, Wisconsin, and Cincinnati.

You know what’s humiliating is going 3-9 three years in a row and likely will do the same next year. When are y’all actually going to be relevant in the discussion for any Championship, for Gods sake you are in the ACC. How many ACC teams will be in the CFP this year? You are the ones that should be humiliated. Most of you will continue to wallow in your pitiful football existence because you don’t have the balls to change it. Look at your stadium on any given Saturday, you can’t even fill your tiny ass stadium in downtown ATL., 10,000 in a stadium that seats 54,000, you should be humiliated. Your inability to negotiate the right contract for your coaches, you should be humiliated. I’m just scratching the surface but you get the picture. Say what you want about UGA but that isn’t making GT better, I mean the bullshit some of you say about UGA after they curb stomp your team, you don’t have the self awareness to even be humiliated. Yeah I’ll be banned for life from this site because the truth is painful and sometime humiliating to accept.
Why don't you go back to Walmart and grab you another $2.00 uga shirt and some white beaters? I'll take Tech over uga anyday over your 4-5 star players who ALWAYS underachieve.

Michigan was screwed by not being #1 and uga should have fallen to #4 (#5 really, but #4 if they made it). That would just switch the location and game time, so no big deal.

The reality is that most years ND Plays 10 P5 Programs and 2 G5 Programs, some years Teams are down, ND cannot control USC and Stanford having worse than expected Seasons.

ND is one of the few Programs that have never played a lower level FCS or D1-AA, in the History of their School.

We play 8 ACC Games plus uga, that's 9 P5 Games, if we make a Conference CG that's 10 P5 Games.

My point is that Notre Dames overall sked most years is just as tough as many P5 Teams that play in Conferences, except for the SEC

ND's Sked is almost always tougher than Big12, Pac 12, and ACC Conf Champ schedules
