Pero's Pizza, Junior's Grill, Engineer's Bookstore, the old C&S building....

Two places I miss...

Bobby and June's Kountry Kitchen (definitely old school at the time I went in the late '90s) and Kool Korner cuban sandwiches, right down the street. Here's some pics of Bobby and June's.

Two of my 14th Street favorites!!

Was so great in the early 80's to be able to do the short walk from my dorm in Hanson, through the 3rd Street tunnel, to the pre-eminent punk/new wave music club in the entire southeast, 688.
Who did you see play there? Any big name punk bands?

God I loved eating at Bobby and June’s!

I remember liking a place called Lil Dino or something. It was a sandwich place and not great for dining in or anything, but they had what basically amounts to a cheese steak sandwich with bacon and no vegetables. It was wonderful.
