Kids played tough, well coached game. We should be proud of the effort. Now go recruit some DL and LBs.

The kids on D played hard. Our D gave up 31.
UT 38, Miss 52, Fl 45,Vandy 37, Mizz 30.
A little better outcome in the red zone and we win this one.

I was just telling a buddy that what I got out of the game tonight was that if Tech had the same sized players, we could have won. Key did a wonderful coaching job. We just don’t have the horses at the moment.

Had we gotten the 3rd down up to even the 40% range in this game, it could have made a huge difference.

I am more upset than when we get our asses kicked. I usually know when we’re in for an ass kicking. I’m gonna take my dog for a walk and go try to sleep. My kids both told me to wake them up “when Tech wins”. Neither of them asked my wife to wake them up if uga wins. My 5 year old actively roots for tech and talks öööö to my wife about uga.

I hope we win the bowl game for the sake of winning and a winning record. But I am mostly happy that the coaching staff gets another 3 or so weeks of time with the kids. I also am excited to see Dontae Smith suit up in white and gold one more time. I really, really appreciate that man.

With an extra three or so weeks together, I am confident this team and staff can and will defeat any one of the teams we might end up bowling with.

Haven't been since the NIU game. My cardiologist thanks me. Said I wouldn't come back until Collins and his stench were removed and the GTAA wasn't a hand to mouth G5 level operation. Perhaps we're finally there.
