Buster Faulkner

Did you watch us gash UGA's vaunted defense? Absolutely Buster played a huge role
I'm just posing the question. I think he's done well but also not sure how great he is. A great OC could also make mediocre players look good, so it works both ways. My view is, if it's working don't change it, so I want to keep as much of our offense as we can

I doubt that either Dontae Smith or Jamal Haynes would be considered mediocre, but Buster sure brought out the best in them.

Bumping this thread because I loved so many of the plays we ran against UGA.

The Offense showed so much improvement it boggles the mind. They did have some tools and used them .Compared to the DEF which was close to a disaster they were terrific.

Buster called a heck of a first half against UGA. Hindsight is 20/20. But he gifted Georgia’s defense largely abandoning the run and misdirection for the pass in the 2nd half.

I don’t think yall understand, Arkansas is in the SEC instead of a dying ACC. Arkansas has a significantly higher payroll opportunity. Arkansas also has a significantly more devoted fan base.
The more people keep saying the ACC is dying the more it will be true. Who knows what will happen with these tv networks. ESPN is going bankrupt. Let’s lay off that talk. We don’t want to sound like FSU fans

If he wants his son to stay in that High School, then working at GT is a good fit......as long as he doesn't mind the hour long commute each way. Hope he has a nice vehicle for the drive.

there was scuttlebutt that Weinke was calling g plays at the end of the year not Long
Honestly, that wouldn't bother me - Buster is in the booth, Weinke is on the sideline. Whatever they figure out as a staff is fine with me if we keep progressing. Maybe Faulkner wants to game plan but not call plays. Just sayin that whatever works works and if that's what those two have worked out, I have no issue with it - even if that leads to some compensation adjustments.

Long was demoted after the UVA or FSU game; thought that was well known. Think it was UVA when he kept calling all vertical routes while our QB Gibson was rattled as hell.
It was prob after uva

First I am hearing of this.

I don't think anyone is saying Buster isn't calling plays. This was about last year.
