The Top-40 Players of the Coach Paul Johnson Era -- w/ Highlights, Stats, and Facts

And Steven Hill over Roddy Jones? Dammit, heroin must be a hell of a drug. Hell, even your initial description of Hill has a drop in it

I think everyone can agree Stephen Hill was a bigger impact player during his time here. Roddy only had one 100 yard rushing game.... he was just a part of better teams so he feels more important.

Bullshit. Roddy was our best blocking AB we have had in the program. Period. He was THE reason we sprung a lot of long runs. He was vital to our offense. If I were in Savannah right now, we'd meet at a pub, get drunk, and fight.

So you're top 10 so far includes butker, washington, and roddy.

just wait until I list Embry Peeples above Roddy and Orwin

Marcus Wright better be #.5

Thread is awesome. I'm glad Jefferson playing Captain Insano with Moreno made it, that play always gets lost in the madness of the rest of the game. Watching some of the videos is weird, it really doesn't feel like it's been 9 years since I watched CPJ in BDS for the first time.

Did I say that? However, Roddy is definitely top 15. I just see our all time leading scorer and best FG kicker in the history of the program is pretty low on your list. (yes, I remember Scisson and Manged)

Godhigh has been the best A-back under CPJ in my opinion though Lynch is trying to make a case. The guy would routinely make something out of nothing. Orwin benefited from perfect perimeter blocking.

a lot of orwins runs were wide open field sprints, but it was also his speed that helped spring some of those plays.
