öööö you Paul Johnson

we're not in the same market as they are

In that case, who do you see as possible candidates? If Stansbury wants to keep somewhat of a similar offensive style, you have Jeff Monken, Ivin Jasper, Ken Niumatalolo, or Troy Calhoun.

Or if he wants a defensive minded coach, there's always Bud Foster or Brent Venables.

Yep. They got beat by a link. Miles came in too high. That's football.

The O scored on a majority of the drives. That isn't ööööting the bed. We had something like 3 drives in the first half. The D ööööed this game.

The O scored 27 points. The O couldn't get a yard with the game on the line. The D gave up a fluky bomb late.

The O shat the bed when it mattered and is as culpable here as the D.

why would any of Johnson's friends agree to replace him. Ken and Irvin are out.

Monken might be interested but meh

the hard truth is it'd be Roof with someone like Brent Key as OC. Not my favorite option but iiwii

You can't be taken seriously by anyone if that's your summation of that game.

How is promoting Roof going to excite the fanbase and sell season tickets? Seems to me that it would do the opposite.

Probably, and what scares me the most.

Could also look at what we might have gotten previously, edsall, muschamp, etc. Where would we be?

Hell, just look at Maryland, a pretty comparable team as far as resources, Friedgen then Edsall, two coaches tech could have easily chosen, look where they are.

Friedgen was doing well. I think his health was his ultimate downfall. Too fat.

I am not advocating for a change. However if we change why wouldn't we bring in a Tech grad, Mike MacIntyre now the coach at Colorado

both sides of the ball are responsible here. Any other belief is stupid.
You're being obtuse. Of course both sides of the ball are responsible. The point is that, overall, the offense played well enough to win with an average defensive performamce. We did not get an average defensive performance, so we lost. That has been an all-too-common occurrence under CPJ. (And before you say it, yes that is obviously Johnson's fault)

Firing CPJ and then hiring Ted Roof as head coach would be less exciting than if I took a big ole shit at the 50 and called it coach.

This whole Tech man shit needs to stop.
