You being a Fan for 40 yrs gives you no insight on what Recruits and their Parents are saying and how they perceive certain things from the Fans-Alums

That’s the sign that his time here is limited. It took us a good bit to get there, but it’s pretty clear he’s lost the majority of the fan base. It would take a miracle (or an idiot AD, which is a distinct possibility) for him to get a contract extension at this point.

You living in fantasy land with this line of thinking. Most of the fan base (that follows what is going on) knows that we weren’t going to be winning 8 games in year 3, especially given the impact of the Covid year. We are all unhappy with the status, but only the whiny fans think it is too late for him to turn things around.

The team is showing progress. Another year or two and we will be in pretty good shape.

In case you’ve missed it, people aren’t going to games, a lot aren’t even watching, and those that are watching or going are majority not happy. I never expected to win 8 games a season. I did expect 5 without getting embarrassed at home by NIU.

I wanted him to succeed. I was excited when I was hired. I bought into the BS stuff that he does. But it’s clear to me that all of the BS is the problem. This team and coaching staff lacks focus. They are more concerned with goofy öööö like a red carpet entrance, uniform colors, brown nosing the pro teams, and designing t shirts than they are coaching football and game planning. That goofy lack of focus is dumb and manifests in stuff like weightlifting on the sidelines and the coach doing push-ups when he screwed up a timeout. It’s a clown show.

What ööööing progress, you dolt? The secondary that’s markedly worse since year one? The offensive line that’s still a mess after three years? The play calling that is just as bad yesterday as it was in 2019? The three wins?

Tech lost to a directional Illinois school. We barely beat Duke, ööööing Duke, on a prayer. We’ve made every QB in the ACC look like a ööööing Heisman contender.

But sure, in a year or two we’ll be just fine. We may even win four or five games. Hoo-ööööing-ray.

By the time Collins is finally fired, Georgia will have won ten against us in a row.

She's the Mom of a P5 Recruit, and she's seen the P5 HCs come in her living room and offer up the sales pitches to sign her Son, HER SON has been on the Camp Circuit with other P5 Recruits, she has inside knowledge on what Recruits & Parents say, YOU DON'T.

Don’t care. I also note that most of the other schools those players consider also have fans who complain when thinks go badly.

How many practices have you been to?

How much have you seen behind the scenes?

Is it possible that our terrible W-L record is caused by factors other than those items above that frustrate you?

You show your silliness because all that stuff you mentioned above is cooked up by the Mktg Dept and its staffers and I can guarantee you that Coaching Staff spends zero time on those things (same way your Hero spent zero time on Recruiting)

The one exception is that he probably asks the Seniors which Unis they want to wear that week, maybe a few Minutes during opening remarks or Admin Time at their 1st weekly meeting

That’s fine with me. I’m not really beating my chest about Geoff having to go now. I do think Thacker, Burton, and the Bachelor should be gone yesterday. But Geoff is going to get more time simply due to money and I get it. I am simply of the mind that there will be no extension and we will probably see a change after year 5 or 6 of the contract.

I expect assistant coach changes when times are good and when times are bad. That is the nature of being an assistant. Hell, Tenuta's longest tenure was with us. Every other job was 2-3 seasons.
