Big changes coming for the pre-game festivities

Having twice walked across North Avenue at GT Alumni House before the Ole Miss game last year, IIRC west bound traffic on North Avenue was routed by APD south on Techwood & there was almost no traffic at all west of there. Getting to the parking lots east of the 3rd Street tunnel was another story.

Just sayin'.......
Why you parking on the east side of the interstate? You're gonna get molested.

I'm sure next we will be converting the Wreck to battery power.
I’m all for cheering as the team dressed and ready to play come running out behind the Rambling Wreck. I’m also all for pregame tailgates and the band playing etc., but when did it become essential that we all have to cheer as players walk into the locker room to get ready. It seems like a silly ritual that caught on somewhere about 20 years ago and now is mandatory that it is done everywhere.

And that is why our fans suck.

There used to be a UGA coach that didn’t like the “dawg walk”. Maybe it was Richt, anyway I thought it was funny that mutts would complain that “I really don’t think coach likes the dawg walk!”

It's from Ole Miss & "The Grove" Experience.... check it out on Sept 16th & get back to us. They've been doing it much longer than 20 years.

I imagine the concept works a lot better when it occurs through a well-attended tailgating spot. Peter's Park could be that one day...

On the bright side, J just opened up about 20 new close parking spots along YJA for big donors with RVs.

I park in Peters and won’t miss it, except maybe the drum corps. I won’t go to North to see it either. Maybe the ticket lines will shorten up on the Peters side now.

Ironic that North is south.
