Catchall Deion Sanders Thread

your disdain is misplaced. the ncaa is the real öööö show, but by all means, keep following the shiny object
The good news is there is enough disdain to go around. I can hate them both.

Prime haters had a rough day. ööööed up Malzahn's boys pretty damn bad

Still haven’t beaten 1 team that finished with a winning record. Gloating over beating Gus? lol Wow…..
Not gloating, just pointing out the guy is putting together a competitive team. He'll never get a championship level team there, but he's capable of getting them to a bowl game which is a far cry from 1-11. He'll win the 2 games left that are winnable and lose the other 5. Maybe he'll pull off an upset of the 5 he's a dog to get to 7 wins, but it's equally likely he'd crap one of the 2 gimmes than win another as a big dog. Just because he's an abrasive loudmouth doesn't mean he's a complete idiot.

The Big 12 sucks

I prefer to think that we broke FSU and the other teams are just benefitting from that.Had they beaten us they could be unbeaten now. Probably not, but that's what I'm going with.
I think FSU tries just as hard every week when they run out on the field as they did that first week against us. I just think they are not very good.

What's better? Losing to Syracuse and Louisville or beating a p5 team?
This makes no sense. There are only P4 conferences.

Last I checked, Colorado lost to Nebraska. That’s the equivalent of losing to Syracuse. Beating UCF is the equivalent of beating Dook right now.

I was told the Big12 was nearly on par with the SEC and BIG10

Fun fact - teams have a worse record after you beat them

Will we beat duke?

Fun fact, you aren’t understanding things (obviously). To date, Colorado under Prime has beaten zero teams who have finished with a winning record. UCF was 6-7 last year. Not to say, UCF won’t finish 7-5 this year. But to date, Colorado still has not beaten one team with a winning record.

As far as Duke goes, they have played one of the weakest schedules in the country to date.

FCS - Elon
NW - 2-2
UCONN - 3-2
MTSU - 1-4
UNC - 3-2

I mean, who’s the best team Duke has played? UNC?

Should GT win coming off a bye? Yes. But honestly, GT hasn’t beaten anyone either at this point. GT needs to fix the OL run blocking. If they have that fixed Saturday, GT should win. If not, then expect a lot of whining and the sky is falling in the threads.

I was told the Big12 was nearly on par with the SEC and BIG10
This is completely false. There is no one who has said the B12 or ACC are even close to the B1G/SEC. A merger of the 2 leagues would actually make them a very competitive #3.

Problem for both leagues, neither has a #1-3-4 who are on par with either the B1G/SEC. I mean, do you really trust Miami in a game vs any of Texas, Bama, Tennessee, uga, tOSU, Oregon, PSU, Michigan, etc? How about Pitt, Louisville, etc?

Clemson is the only team from either league at this point who would have a chance. Utah without Cam Rising (who can never stay healthy) would not stand a chance right now. BYU? Doubt it.

Clown sack cuppers have very thin skins. Prime is doing what most reasonable people expected him to do. He resuscitated a moribund program and has them playing competitive football against teams Colorado should be competive with. They're never going to be national champs. 7-5 is about their ceiling unless they're having a miracle season and can pull off 8 wins.

Ummm what? It was a bowl win cementing a winning season. Nothing more. To date, beating UCF is the high water mark for Colorado. Unlike Prime, CBK has already beaten the following who finished with a winning record.

2022:

Duke - 9-4
Pitt - 9-4
UNC - 9-5

2023:

UNC - 8-5
Miami - 7-6
