The foundation is laid for this to get very fun to watch. I love a good train wreck when it's not us.
Even if it isn't, as the article mentioned, there are people wondering how he could know who was coming without tampering being involved. If that proves true, we're going to need bigger boxes of popcorn. He has claimed repeatedly that he already knows what other players he has coming in. You know, all those Louis Vuitton bags he talked about. That is beginning to look like a pig in the poke. We'll see.
I hope there are moments every bit as cringey as blaring "IIIIIITTTSSSS MONEY DOWN!!!!" over the PA when our opponent had a 3rd and 1 at our 5 yard line late in the 4th with us down 4 scores. Good times. The foundation is laid for this to get very fun to watch. I love a good train wreck when it's not us.
Holes to fill? Hole up now.Calling this a train wreck in May is a bit foolish. Still plenty of players moving around and holes to fill. It isn’t like they are going to kickoff in August with 45 players.
They’ve had 1 winning season since 2005 and went 1-11 last year; they are going to get better under Prime, no doubt about that.

And another on an uncalled block in the back on a punt return. And hopefully they lose at least one game on 5th down.

If he doesn’t win he’s gonna lose most of the players he brought in and have a hard time selling to new recruits and transfer to come play for him. If he does win he’s still gonna lose players to the portal as their NIL price tags will go up but he won’t have as much problem bringing players in to replace them until Colorado NIL funds can’t keep up with increased demand. Either way he’s gonna blame the university and make an exit at some point before anybody can fire him.1) If Colorado is awful, then does Prime keep moving forward with same plan? Is he allowed to? I assume Colorado is pot committed to Prime for 3? 4? years?
2) I assume this could fall apart super quick. If he doesn’t win, then the NIL and portal dries up and Colorado is a low tier P5 program with an unproven coach.
3) Now I’m not saying it is impossible to work. The only point is, I think Prime has to win by year 2 or it is over. Prime isn’t a long term program builder.
And he can go set on a bench next to Collins and count $$$$If he doesn’t win he’s gonna lose most of the players he brought in and have a hard time selling to new recruits and transfer to come play for him. Perhaps but I don't think so. Football is 11 guys working as a unit. I pointed out earlier that CO will only have a few weeks in August to install and practice the playbook. I don't care if 622 guys transfer to CO - you can't build a football team in 3 weeks.Calling this a train wreck in May is a bit foolish. Still plenty of players moving around and holes to fill. It isn’t like they are going to kickoff in August with 45 players.

Is he the first? I could have sworn there was another before him.Oh there is definitely doubt. Prime could leave them on NCAA probation after alienating the fan base. Heck, being the first black coach at Colorado he could potentially set race relations back a couple of decades. None of us know how many players they will kickoff with in August, could be 85, could be less. Prime has the potential to be great or horrendous, it is all open right now; but looking gloomy.
That rebuilding didn't take because the fan base wouldn't guzzle the juiceIs he the first? I could have sworn there was another before him.

Mel Tucker used Colorado as stepping stone. He was there for 1 year and then went to Michigan State for twice the money. You are correct sir, Midnight Melvin (Mel Tucker) was there for one season.
No chance that’ll happen again.Mel Tucker used Colorado as stepping stone. He was there for 1 year and then went to Michigan State for twice the money.
It would be more accurateCan we get sports media to start referring to this as the biggest rebuild in college football history?
