Catchall Deion Sanders Thread

Deion wasn't right for GT. He's a self-absorbed showman who doesn't care about academics. He ran off more than half of the former Colorado football team, which isn't ethical. Not everything is about winning football games. We need someone at Tech who is a high-character leader of men and historically we've had that with few exceptions. Brent Key wasn't my choice but he's better for Tech than Deion.

character and integrity over winning. got it

Exactly it. The point that a majority crying “what could have been….” are ignoring at the moment. GT would never have let him come in and blow up the roster the way he did.

Colorado also has 11 games left 5-6 against much better teams than TCU. The lack of defense by Colorado against the likes of USC, Oregon, Utah, Oregon State, etc won’t end well for Colorado.

TCU is an 8-4 team at best this year. They had a LOT of luck go their way last year. That could have easily been a 4 loss regular season team.
enormous cope, youre essentially inferring that CU is a top 15 team

yall keep coping.. the amount of recruiting he will do the next two years will set CU up to rock us off the field whether he leaves or not... delusional clowns here

Keep in mind under new NCAA rules, a new coach can move as many athletic scholarships to academic as they want. If the SA still wants to play the sport, they can transfer. No one lost the education/degree opportunity if they wanted it.

Doing it is not unethical as EVERYONE understands the rules about playing the sport.

an unfair comparison considering their schedule. but if CU had ours, the answer is easy.. them
Complete BS. Remainder of CU’s schedule.

Nebraska - 60/40
Colorado State - Win
@ Oregon - Blowout loss.
USC - Blowout loss.
@ ASU - 50/50
Stanford - 50/50
@ UCLA - 25/75
Oregon State - Loss
Arizona - 60/40
@ WSU - 50/50
@ Utah - Blowout loss.

Only guaranteed win they have remaining on the schedule is Colorado State. They will be a small favorite vs Nebraska and maybe the Arizona schools. Road game at Pullman won’t be easy. The lack of any defense will lead to blowout losses against Oregon, USC and Utah. Oregon State and UCLA are both better teams than Colorado. 5 wins for Colorado would be a good season.

Did you not watch the game yesterday?

Are they sending him his trophies already or does he have to play the games first?

Did you not watch the game yesterday?
Sure did. I watched Colorado’s O playing against air on defense, same for TCU’s O against Colorado’s D. I also know how good Oregon, USC, Utah are. If you think based on 1 game that Colorado is even close to the talent level of Oregon, USC, Utah, you’re going to be in for a rude awakening soon. TCU was bad on defense last year, and looks to be just as bad this year. TCU is a minimum 4 loss, likely 5 loss team.
