Catchall Deion Sanders Thread

Colorado was ranked 19th, let that sink in.
Colorado’s going to end up 5-7 or 6-6, barring injuries. Nothing has changed since he arrived. Nothing except a bunch of whining and excuse making as to why we didn’t hire him.

It’s not the point. Prime cleaned house, brought interest to an anemic program, he has more than paid for himself and staff already and there a lot of season left to go. There was a strategy there, we as an Institute don’t like those type of strategies. They defy calculated logic using GT’s typical logic. We’re smart but sometimes having a badass set of wheels and a hot chick is worth more than a high 401k balance.

There’s the Prime model and our model. We chose slow, cheap, not risky, slow and cheap. They chose fast and somewhat risky. There’s a huge difference between choosing clown and Prime. He’s no clown even though his personality does not fit ours. He’s a goid guy and pretty damn shrewd. You’d think most GT fans would be able to figure it out but as a whole we tend to be book smart and street dumb.

Now the dumb bitches can cry with that idiotic icon.

Except he's proven that, even when successful, he leaves behind animosity and nothing of lasting value. So, to use your analogy, you're choosing a hot gold digger and spending more than you can afford on a vague notion that you'll be able to earn your way out of it. Frankly, the style before substance approach to life has led to our country being addicted to debt and is a terrible example to set for young men. It's everything wrong with our culture right now and I hope that it all comes crashing down.

Having an exciting couple years and making some cash is probably a good deal for Colorado, even though they’ll return to obscurity immediately after. It’s a worse deal for us, a program with actual long term history and potential. We have more history and tradition in the upper East piss troughs than Boulder has in their entire program. I wouldn’t trade places with them. In Key I trust.

Boulder has a big academic endowment and a lot of rich alums. They are hardly a broke ass school, no matter how they played it. It just woke the rich bandwagoneers up for now

Bullshit they did. They played "talk öööö, get hit". Went in mad. Established dominance. By the second Oregon possession, all of the fat little Colorado girlfriends were looking over at that Oregon sideline and thinking maybe they should start thinking about dating Alpha males, genetically superior physically to the flashy punk ass little bitches playing for Colorado.

Let’s see them use that game plan against USC lol

Pics of hot gold digger?

Blah blah blah blah. 3rd quarter stats less than 75 yards and 0 points yesterday. But please carry on. Blah blah blah blah.

You continue to ignore that this is likely a 2 year stop before moving on. It would have been the same thing had GT actually had any interest in him. The following HC at Colorado will not inherit much of a base to start with when Deion’s top level recruits follow him to his next stop. Not really easy to stabilize a program with this method.

He took over a 1-11 team which has been irrelevant for 30 years. He turned over the entire roster and has that team 3-1, including a win over a nationally ranked team on national television. He had Game Day on campus, before his first game he was granted a national tv slot on Fox, he’s on multiple national commercials, he had the highest streamed game in the history of ESPN, he had 1,000 students standing in line at 6:45 am waiting for the student ticket office to open, and every CFB broadcast mentions Colorado every day.

This isn’t all-or-nothing: the guy either goes 15-0 or he was a terrible hire. That’s a clown take. It’s also a clown take to say he’s done nothing or that he hasn’t done anything for the program. I would take any one of the things mentioned above for Tech, and you would too.

Was Key a bad hire? No. But Deion in Atlanta would have been the above on steroids. He would be the king of Atlanta right now.

Just so you know, Colorado went 10-4 in 2016. Followed by 3 straight 5-7 seasons. You’re reaching with the “King of Atlanta” comment considering the fanbase that dominates the state of Georgia. He would have excited the fanbase and media like he’s done at Colorado, no doubt about it. But to label him “King of Atlanta” you might want to temper it just a bit. Comparing the states of Colorado to Georgia in terms of CFB is a pretty significant difference.

Pointing these facts out makes you a Prime Playboy though lol

Did you and Feiten have to fight over the cuck chair to watch Oregon bang Colorado?
