Catchall Deion Sanders Thread

Offense: have son throw 60 times per game, don't worry about the situation.
Other son was supposed to carry the D. Pick 6s every week. High stepping to the ene zone. Why do you think Shiloh’s been lagging in the rankings?

If this is a repost, lemme know. I just watched the condensed highlights - didn't realiz my favorite TV announcer of all time (Mark Jones) did the play-by-play. Worth watching just to listen to that guy.

If you want to pick up at the point where its 29-0, skip ahead to the 5 min mark - its 20 min all in so spend a generous 15 min from 29-0 to the final buzzer.

Colorado has a better record than us. Has not lost to a G5 team. Won a single game last season. They are also selling tickets like crazy and getting a lot of attention. We could’ve had all of that. For the cost of losing in double OT to Stanford. Oh the horror.
You do realize how bad Stanford is, right? I don’t think you do (or your feelings are hurt). They lost to Troy Taylor’s previous school in FCS Sacramento State 30-23.

Going into the Colorado game against 3 P12 teams they had scored a combined 36 points, and given up 119. Stanford scored more against Colorado than all 3 previous P12 games combined. Says quite a bit.

Also, guess you’re not much of a math major. Colorado has played 7 games, GT 6. So last I checked, they have played 1 more game. But who’s counting anyway?

Colorado is going to finish 4-8.

Why don't we wait until the season is done to compare and evaluate. So far, the Jackets have the worse loss, for sure. We don't know who will have the better win and season record.
That’s debatable. Stanford is quite possibly the worst P5 team this year. Battle between Stanford, NW and UVA at the moment.

Y’all have it all wrong. Colorado’s loss to Stanford shows that there’s no way they could handle an ACC schedule.

I know how bad Stanford is. The upset was shocking. It’s not as if Stanford depantsed Colorado they won in double OT. Shocking defeats to Stanford shouldn’t be something new to a fan of Southern Cal.

Why don't we wait until the end of the year. Tech was picked to finish 14th in the ACC yet is right now sitting at 5th, right behind Louisville and right ahead of VPI with a 2-1 conference record. If we win all that we should, we will finish with a 5-3 ACC record.

Nice deflection #1.

#2 So let’s go over the math again as it relates to Colorado vs GT.

Colorado = 7 games played to date.
GT = 6 games played to date.

If GT wins Saturday (7th game) what would the record be for each team again?

How does this have anything to do with you saying GT has the worse loss? BG is bad, but Stanford may be as bad or worse, which is why it’s debatable at the moment on who has the worst loss.

"Could've had all that"? Who honestly thinks there was a f*ck's chance he was going to coach at GT? What have you go that indicates there were deep discussions regarding Sanders coming to GT? I don't get all these Prime-Time panty boys lamenting over 'what could've been' when there never was a chance in hell it was going to be.

Did you honestly think any school was willing to do what the buffs did? No you didn't. Nobody did, it flipped the script for the first time and for all time. From now on when a new coach rolls into a disaster program I guarantee the first thing he does under the current rules is clean house.

Just because you "think" it couldn't have been us doesn't mean it couldn't have been. I dunno where the hell you guys keep getting this argument. Anytime something new happens, there has to be a first time.

This has less to do with Deion than adapting to the current landscape of NCAA football. He's just the poster child.

Sure, it's debatable at the moment, but let's not assume that it is the case until the total body of work is in. I am old enough to remember CBR's 5-17 record heading into 1989, which started with 3 straight losses running CBR's record to 5-20 before ripping off W's in 7 of the last 8 games including UGAg to finish the 1989 season at 7-4. The rest of his tenure is now GA Tech football history. Somehow, CO was front and center in all that, too.

As far as Stanford specifically, they lost the inexplicable game to Sac State, but their other 3 losses are teams that are now 15-5.

They would be the same. Right now Colorado’s record is…better than GT’s. We have a non-gimme game to play this Saturday.

Why are you so obsessive over Colorado? Why does it matter if Deion is or isn’t a good coach. By most measures he is pretty good.

Because guys like you are constantly slobbering on Deion's knob, regardless of what he says or does or their performance on the field.
