It's a totally valid argument. I personally don't think that would happen in the same way that it did under CPJ, but I'm not a fortune-teller.
Still believe his system will have us recruiting with our left hand tied behind our back especially at OL & WR. Fun system, but imo, will add restrictions to school that already has hurdles
My counter-argument would be that Saban used to run an extremely conservative system as well. Then he saw his offense getting lapped by Auburn and others that had adopted RPO and read-option principles. He took a risky bet in hiring Lane Kiffin to run the offense. Bama looks like a totally different team now than back in 2015 thanks to this change.
