Dems..Please confirm this....

lets just say one already landed a job but checked with us first

others have jobs but still checked to see if we were interested, one wanted to come back even.
You're just screwing with people. This must be fun for you. :)

Good point, dem. You always know just what to say.

I really hate to badger you, but I have one more question. Hatcher's name has been coming up less and less since yesterday. Is he just completely off the radar now?

Again, feel free to plead the fifth if you need to. We're just happy to have someone like you around.

This is some interesting history about Neuheisel... actually pulled this off of a bammer board:

here: http://tidefans.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-51732.html

His first two teams went 10-2, losing only to Nebraska (twice), Kansas State, and Michigan in that span.

The next year his team went 5-6, but the schedule included games against both national champions in 1997, and they also played 13-0 Nebraska to a 27-24 defeat in the final game of the year. Nebraska's closest game of the season.

He was undefeated (4-0) against some very good Colorado State teams and 3-0 in bowls, with victories in the Cotton and Holiday bowl.

Goes to Washington, wins the Pac 10 and The Rose Bowl in his second year, and defeats Miami, which would be Miami's only loss before losing to Ohio State two years later in the Fiesta Bowl.

4-0 against Washington State, two of which were 10 win Wazzu teams going against 7 and 8 win Washington teams.

At one point had a 16 game home winning streak from 99-02.

Guided QB Cody Pickett to the best season of his career (02), as he threw for 4458 yards with 28 TDs and 14 INTs.

The next season, without Neuheisel, Pickett would "only" throw for 3,043 yards, with 15 TDs and 13 INTs.

Since Neuheisel left Washington has gone 14-32, with seasons of 6-6, 1-10, 2-9, and 5-7.

I don't think the Fridge would be the answer here...nor would Patrick Nix, Ted Roof, etc. Maybe they can announce a hire so all of us can get some work done this week at the office.

my office production has definitely suffered...and heck, this thread alone is more like a chat window than anything...have to keep hitting refresh and every time you do 3 new posts have been created.

Hey someone tell Hatcher over at GSU to just split the difference on the S and U at GSU and come on to GT....It works mathmatically so that must mean that it's meant to "Bee".....GO JACKETS...I hope that the best man is hired..LOL

Fridge had to be the coach that wanted to come back. I cant see GOL trying anything like that.

All the 5 are still in it. Hatcher will more then likely have a formal interview soon.

I have no desire for that sleeze. If we got probation for the piddly academic progress tracking problems, we'll certainly get the death penalty with this guy.

Not to mention the Ravens offense has got worse since he got there --- if that was possible.

NO THANKS

I'd still support the team, but I would not be "on board" and he'd get no mercy.

Spoken by one of the guys who said we should always support the program regardless while many of us watched in misery as CG took us to mediocrity and off UGA's screen as a true rivalry.

You should be open to any coach we hire. Rad will not let the debacle of our interim coach winning the bowl game, telling him he is a candidate and then the next day announcing someone else like Braineless. He doomed CG from the start to a divided fan base and I can honestly remember NO ONE being truely excited that we hired CG.

Rad has a strong list of candidates. We have had interest from others like Cutcliffe, Nutt and others that would surprise many. This job is a good job to have unlike some have said. We have a great recruiting area, a passionate fan base, great facilities and a good AD who is supportive.

Will the real "Mystery Guest" sign in please.

This reminds me of Christmas time when the kids shake all the gifts under the tree to try and learn what's in them. But in this case, Dem is the gift and he's getting a good shaking.

Hang in there Dem, for all we know the mystery man may be YOU !!!!!!

No, its just we can do better than hire a guy that left the two programs he coached in shambles and in NCAA turmoil. Rather, its spoken like somebody who knows that you can win and not sell your soul to do it.

Tech is a plum job if its sold the right way. The last 2 good coaches, GOL and CBR, both won big and basically wrote their ticket after they won here.
