First and foremost I grew up in GA, and have lived in CA, CO and now NC. The conspiracy theories you have are a bit out there to say the least. To speculate Gibbs left for Alabama was to spotlight how he could perform against SEC talent is quite a straw man thought. Gibbs left for the obvious reasons. The writing was on the wall under the previous HC who I will not name. Gibbs talent was going to shine through regardless of where he played.
Clemson has averaged a Top 5-10 class for almost a decade and had a Top 2 class. During that time Texas, USC, TAMU, Auburn, etc have had multiple Top 10 classes. Here are Rivals.com rankings:
2015: #4 (Alabama #2, UGA #6)
2016: #6 (Alabama #1, UGA #9)
2018 #8 (Alabama #7, UGA #1)
2019 #9 (Alabama #2, UGA #1)
2020 #2 (Alabama #3, UGA #1)
2021 #6 (Alabama #1, UGA #5)
2022 #10 (Alabama #2, UGA #3)
2023 #10 (Alabama #1, UGA #2)
So yes, they have beaten Alabama and UGA in recruiting multiple times. What cracks me up is you really think that there is much of a gap between the classes.
As far as FSU’s recruiting, you can check for yourself. They are doing just fine as well in that department.
Clemson, FSU are going to get talent whether they remain in the ACC or go to the B1G, B12 or SEC. Add in NIL deals now, and bringing up what conference you play in is irrelevant. Travis Hunter is a prime example of that. FSU has also flipped multiple UGA commits and just took Bolden who was considered a UGA lock.
