Two things going on with TS today. The CFB HOF dinner isn't until tomorrow night. Why fly up a day early?

Temple is 2 hours from NYC. Army is a little shorter. If TS is interviewing either Collins of Monken today seems to be the day. What's interesting is that Monken doesn't seem to want to leave Army.

Noticeably absent? Tony Elliott is in Charleston today visiting recruits.

Possible we already let Monken know he is not in the running.

Here's another interesting thought about Satterfield. That article seems to think he will be hired by Louisville as early as today. If he gets a P5 job, does he try to come get Nate Woody anyway? Regardless of whether we have plans for him to stay?

If we hire someone like Geoff Collins then Woody won't be staying.

Yeah, that quote screams "I'm interested if you're interested." Kinda like Elliott's quote.

Face it, we're the beau of the ball. We can have our pick of the young ingenues. And the old ones.

This article seems to confirm that we are moving away from the Triple Option. Stansbury is headed to New York for the College Football HOF Dinner, where it is believed he will conduct interviews.

This article has Satterfield, Elliott, Collins in the mix.

The rumor was that Whisenhunt interviewed this morning, but I'm not sure.

I would be good with any of Collins, Satterfield or Elliott. All seem like they would bring something different to the table, with the main thing being energy and enthusiasm. Sounds like we have a decent array of guys to pick from. Understanding what Collins has done at Temple around connecting to the community, that's a big deal.

I'm starting to warm up to Collins a bit. Elliot would be my #1 and I think Satterfield will end up at Louisville, but I'm feeling optimistic we're going to end up with a good coach.
