GT - Clemson sells out

Which Stingtalk staff member is the best candidate for AD?

I say we hold the office as a collective. Maybe like an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take turns to act as a sort of executive-officer-for-the-week. But all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting by a simple majority, in the case of purely internal affairs, but by a two-thirds majority, in the case of more major decisions.

I didn’t know you were called Dennis

And yet, it took Collins to win in Atlanta away from Tech. I don't think that had been done since before the flats

I think I read in a book about Clint Castleberry that Tech used to play home games at Ponce de Leon Park. I think there were college football games at Piedmont Park, too. Plus, I know Tech and Georgia used to host day-night doubleheaders at Grant Field. This type of history is interesting to me. If anybody knows more about this, I hope they'll post it.

So about that sellout... Check out the tickets available on Ticketmaster. There are only "resale" tickets available but it is very clear from the selection available that they held tickets back and are trying to sell over face value. So the game is actually not sold out. Many prime seats are still available. Below is a view of the seats behind the Clemson sideline.

Hell, when we played Tennessee, a non Tennessee fan friend of mine got a hell of a lot better seats than my upper deck crap seats. He was lower deck midway up in the end zone just buying them regular.

GT has a tendency to screw over ST holders.

The chikfila bowl org gets tickets too right? They might be reselling the tickets they got.

I don’t have season tickets but am interested in buying. How will y’all be purchasing?

Is the upper section open or not? I'm seeing secondary market tickets in the 300 level.

Seems more likely to be scalpers than CFA itself. These days there's basically no event that doesn't have a bunch of tickets available on the secondary market, especially this far out.

I would expect a more even distribution of it was scalpers. Notice almost no seats available in the sideline non-club sections where the gtaa likely put most season ticket holders.
