Haunting words by CPJ...

We won in 2014 mostly because we KO'd your 2 starting QBs and had 2 Pick-6s off Cole Stoudt. The D doesn't get much credit during the PJ Era but it absolutely brought the heat that day and deserves credit for that W.
True, but Cole Stoudt want exactly a slouch. They went on to light up LSU in their bowl game. Had a pretty good game too. Not saying he was as good as Watson, just saying he was a legit QB.

I believe that was a butthurt Tenuta decision

I don’t think Tenuta wanted to stay after being passed over. Then we won’t pony enough money for CPJ first choice (Charlie Strong maybe). Then we got Womack.

We had 4 respected DCs though. There was a structural problem there somewhere.

How many of those respected DC's went in to accomplish anything other Nate Woody?

Name me a worst mutt loss than 2009. 2013 might be close, I guess. There's something in common with those games btw.
God you really are slow. So which assertion do you want to stick with? Most embarrassing or painful? 2009’was painful as hell because it tarnished an otherwise glorious year with a loss to a mutt team we should have beaten. Tech wins that game and 2009 goes down as one of the best non national championship years in the history of the program. Even with the loss to Iowa. That game was not even close to
embarrassing. Embarrassing is losing to the Citadel. Embarrassing is losing to the mutts 45-0.
I really just can’t with you. You’re just too damn silly.

We wouldn't have any of those players. No HS kids want to play in a service academy offense. Kids going to Navy and Army aren't going there for the football programs.

The PJ Fan Club doesn't know öööö about what it takes to win at Tech. All they know and care about are annual Team Rushing stats and couldn't begin to give a damn about stopping the other team's offense. The delusion is comical.
Moron we watched Tech win at the highest levels since Ross under CPJ. Who else won a ACCCG? Who else went to an Orange Bowl twice and won one of them? You’re hands down the most ridiculous member of this board now. Should really receive an award of some sort.

The 2009 game was both embarrassing and a debacle. Much moreso than the who-gives-AF '21 blowout that should've gotten Clown fired. Sorry you can't seem to comprehend this.

2013 was possibly worse. What a PJ chokejob that was.

Clemson defensive YPG avg for year and against GT from 2015-2018
YearGTAVGDelta
201523031383
2016124312188
201723027747
201820328683

If the option was such an "equalizer" against better teams and talent, then why did we average 100 YPG less than their yearly AVG over the last 4 years of CPJ?
Now compare stats for teams where Tech had a solid QB under center during CPJ’s tenure. Just look at all the years and compare stats with teams defensive averages against others. When Tech had solid QB play the offense was nasty. When that was less the case it didn’t perform as well.

JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER SCHEME EVER USED BY ANY COACH.

Yes the scheme helped overcome talent gap mantra is overplayed by CPJ fans. (But not nearly as much as the stupid mantras made by the 3O haters, y’all are truly at religious cult fanaticism in ignoring facts and truths) Like any good scheme run by a great play caller, the play of the QB within that scheme matters greatly.

You're a fool who worships rushing stats and hates defense. 2014 was nice. It led to jack-öööö in recruiting and attendance and national relevance. Frankly, it was a flash in the pan. 2009 was nice but has long been forgotten outside of GT fans since we lost to both the mutts and Iowa. That really was a PJ hallmark, along with Rushing stats and QB Keepers - he never could sustain any momentum for our program. The years after both of his best seasons (2010 and 2015) were losing seasons.

It's interesting though. Loads of people loved the Fridge Flexbone but no one is pining for his return. What is it with you PJ cultists? The guy is gone - get over it. Let it go.

All the more reason to give the D credit for that win, thank you.

A ööööty team getting blown out isn't as embarrassing as our best under PJ losing at home to a mutt team so bad, it fired its DC after shutting us down.

Up 3 scores in 2013 is a close 2nd to Worst home Loss but '09 is still the winner IMO.

We're not a rival anymore to the mutts. Getting bombed in 2021 at home isn't in the same league of embarrassment as '09 is. Back then, the game mattered.
No wonder you love clowns so much, you are one. The mutts defense didn’t shut Tech down. That game was mostly a boat race and looked like the team with the ball last would win. Give mutts credit for forcing our 4th down at the end. The 4th down was open and an obvious first down except for an inexplicable drop by one of our best receivers to suit up.
Tech lost that game mostly because our D couldn’t stop the uga running game at all. Both DCs deserved to be fired after that game.

Learn to read dumbass. Or stop lying. Point out a single post where I have advocated to bring the 3O back.
You’re a liar and a dumbass.

We were at least 100 yards under our '09 rushing average. Richt outcoached PJ by sticking to a simple game plan. PJ responded by throwing 4 Hail Marys from the 50 even though there was over a minute left.

Debacle. Embarrassing. This or '13 are his worst home losses no matter how much it didn't bother you.

Stop lying. You debate like a politician.

We had right at 200 for that game and average just at 300 prior to that game. There's no way in hell those #s increased when we got bitch-slapped by Iowa. I'm sure your math sux as much as your debating "skillz" but stats don't lie. Bonus: It's Team rushing stats so don't get too excited before you pass out!
