I think CPJ's finally done with Taquon

TaQuon's biggest win?

Off the top of my head, probably. Miami’s D much better prepared and they did a good job of limiting GT on the edges, save for some counters. TaQuon made enough big plays when it counted. Miami near the top of the stats in tackles for a loss and their team speed on D showed.

Edit: Howard with some big runs in the 4th as well.

So much awesome cannot be contained.

Huh? More like losing by 3 TDs. No way TO makes that run by TM or the passes that were the difference in the game. And this from a big TO fan.
TO has a major advantage over TM in running the midline, and the advantages stop right there.
loved the bootlegs...man, those can be awesome for us- pass or run. Don't recall seeing as many in 1 game as last night. Great plays against fast Miami D.

Collectively, this is probably the fastest D I’ve seen us go against in CPJ’s tenure.

Not the best. Simply, the fastest sideline to sideline.

I think this is why we used TM- to negate their speed a bit.
As opposed to brute force

PJ will be done with TQM - after he scores the game tying and game winning TDs in the fourth quarter in Athens in two weeks.
Just sayin.

Taquon played like a baller last night. Gotta give the credit where credit's due. I dont share some of my fellow fans' pov that with Tobias would have won easily. Yesterday was Taquon's game and he won it.

Good job Air Force Quon.

yep,
it took a change of pace to work through that uM def.TM gave us that. The passes were key. Of course if TM had LOST his fumble it might be different.
btw--that #4 on uM who got juked BAD on the 1st TD run was All-conf last yr.

Let's just kick UGAg's ass and stop with all the stupid wanting a last second winning TD. I want the satisfaction of a Louisville type win. Gaggers never wish for last second heroics against us. They are disappointed in anything less than kicking our ass. We should feel the same. A last second victory will do, but kicking their ass should be the goal

Hard to say what would have happened if Oliver had played. I did notice that when we ran speed option or load option it didn't work well at all, and that is a lot of what Oliver runs. Maybe something about Miami's alignment or aggressiveness made Oliver a bad fit.

All I know is we put up 27 points on the #2 defense in the country - the most any offense has scored on them all year.

LSU scored 33, FSU and BC have also scored 27 against them this year.
