Yep. Get Sims tfoh.Key finally mans up
Sims could clear the entire mystery up if he wanted to.That doesn't answer my question though. Did Sims tell them during the week he wasn't good to go and wouldn't be playing? Or did he say he was fine with playing in an emergency situation and then went back on it when Pyron went down?
More than that
He’s a selfish candy ass. There is no mystery.Sims could clear the entire mystery up if he wanted to.
Two links:What is his NIL deal? I'm in the dark and must have missed it
Or a car that, when it hit a pothole, would self-drive itself into the nearest parking lot and turn itself off and not start ever again.Hope they aren’t trying to sell durability and reliability.
Key strikes me as a little rough around the edges--lacking diplomacy. From the O'Leary coaching tree.
No that's his "market value for NIL" per some web site that tries to give you an idea of what a player could get on the "open market" if they transferred. I don't believe that is based on current NIL deals for any players.According to what I found it is $72k. Still a little blown away tbh
I guess it's official now. Per AJC...
After not being able to play in the past three games because of a sprained foot, Georgia Tech quarterback Jeff Sims will be away from the team indefinitely, interim coach Brent Key announced Tuesday at his weekly news conference.
He signed a big NIL with Mercedes and another last year with Certified Finishes but I also heard he got a rather large one (7 figures or pretty near it), possibly from a collective to stay at GT after last season and not transfer to LSU.Is this something you guys know or speculation? I'm really surprised (in a good way) that a GT player was able to pull that.
Well, that was a waste of money. He signed a big NIL with Mercedes and another last year with Certified Finishes but I also heard he got a rather large one (7 figures or pretty near it), possibly from a collective to stay at GT after last season and not transfer to LSU.
We cannot be paying people not to transfer. Perhaps this whole drama has a simple explanation - perhaps the payments stopped. He signed a big NIL with Mercedes and another last year with Certified Finishes but I also heard he got a rather large one (7 figures or pretty near it), possibly from a collective to stay at GT after last season and not transfer to LSU.
