It’s Comical How Bad of a Head Coach Geoff Collins Is/Was

By comparison, Saban lost to UL-Monroe his first year of his transition. He stood there in front of the cameras and apologized to the Bama fans saying there was no excuse for it and that it wouldn't happen again. It didn't.
Satan didn't give players hugs after that game, hand out game balls, talk about the greatest rebuild in the history of Bama, etc. Coaches were terrified and players were scared ööööless. Quite a different scenario from our jackass.

The “celebration cams” installed in our Indoor Practice Facility after Year 2 under CGC solidified it for me. That öööö blew my mind.

I do believe he was/is worse than Bill Lewis.
Wait, I missed the celebration cams. The hell were those?

It’s interesting, in responding that way, Saban elevated his players, strongly implying they were better than that. By contrast, TFG belittled his players, strongly implying they weren’t. That’s the way things like that work. You elevate your players, building confidence, and then hold them accountable to perform that way. They will perform to the level of expectations, up or down.

I would hire Bill Lewis. If the 4th quarter meltdown against FSU which was aided by horrible refereeing on two onside kicks had not occurred Lewis would have enjoyed a successful first year. It was a watershed moment and he failed to recover. I would also say had Donnie Davis not injured his shoulder his tenure would have been different. There are more than one or two reasons Collins was an abject failure.
Still pisses me off as to how the refs helped them. One recovery, ok - 2 is a plan.

Clown also used his time as O'Leary and Saban as a selling point too.

Key also was on O'Leary's staff at UCF for two winless seasons.

The biggest difference, so far, is Key actually prepares to win games in practice. I don't know WTF Clown was preparing for in practice.
Still can't figure out those 2 winless seasons for GOL. Fire burned out?

One was the first year he was there. It was a program overhaul.
The second was his last year, so maybe a little of the fire was out. Don't know.

They were 3-9 the year before when Mike Kruczek was fired. It was a hard transition year for GOL. However, he built the program pretty quickly, albeit apparently with little depth early on as can be seen by a couple of 4-8 seasons in years 3 (2006) and 5 (2008). The second losing year, however, was the year after the Plancher incident and the team may have been very distracted. His overall record at UCF over 11.5 seasons was 81-68 even with the winless first and last seasons (0-19). I have no idea how the last season (2015) happened other than maybe it was just time for him to retire.

I think that was the gopros on the turnover whiteboards
Ah, the turnover whiteboards ... where players put their social media addresses ... which couldn't be seen from the stands and which no TV camera was going to stay on long enough to get the full handle ...
More genius at work.
Now, those turnover whiteboards were quite comical.

It’s like the NFL cams and video boards where they allow the defense after a turnover to all run and celebrate like a soccer team in the corner of the endzone.

It was a dumbass imitation of that. Totally on brand, I know.

No. Had nothing to do with the turnover dry-erase boards.

CGC had cameras set up inside the practice facility so players could practice their celebrations.

Doing some gimmick like that after two straight years of winning 3 games was absolutely mind bottling.

Not just Conyers, but a life long bulldog fan, too. You think his fond memories of sitting in the stands of Bobby Dodd to watch the JV Tech-Bulldog game fan with his dad, the Clown was in white and gold?
You nailed it. Clown full of BS.

My 2 cents-- one word--CITADEL-I knew the end was coming with that game. We had a defense that had played vs the TO for YEARS and yet had no idea how to stop it.The Off was grossly erratic vs the powerful CIT DEf. He also had zero contol of his players resulting a embarrassing level of penalties. A total disaster.
