Keeping things in perspective, TTaylor is a man and a pro. Show me pic of an 18yr old Taylor and compare to JSims now.

Which athlete had a bigger impact on their sport, on society, and on the record books: Babe Ruth, Wayne Gretzy, or Michael Jordan? Willie Mays or Wilt Chamberlain? Sachin Tendulkar or Lionel Messi? Secretariat or Muhammad Ali? Give us an hour on each as your demo reel.

I'll go out on a limb and say that Wilt owns the scoring record in more ways than one.

Yes, and also that we've got a pretty small data set to go on right now. It's fun to imagine his trajectory. As his data set grows, we'll be talking about him qua him more and more, and him qua some other QB less and less.

Some folks are just downers, man.
I imagine we will be talking about him qua more, and qua sooner than most could imagine.

I loved JT5 but I don't think he ever threw the ball like Sims just did. Very, very impressive.
Agree. Memory says JT5 had to really load up to heave it and his throwing motion often told that story. Much more effortless out of Sims’s hand.

I love this kid. You can’t teach the attitude it takes to move on from mistakes and block out the negative emotions. One of my favorite verses.
Edit: also look at this pic. You know mason is mentoring and telling Jeff “hey man, I got your back in the pocket.”

I don’t know how big a deal this is, but the Allstate Sugar Bowl facebook page has a Manning Award QB of the Week. Jeff Sims is one of the nominees so head over there and vote for him.

I would do a nickel a job to play a sugar bowl this year. And I’d be making more that your mom.

And Sims was a 4 star

Lamar a 3

I watched a lot of Lamar Jackson's high school footage. He was obviously a stellar athlete but he was not nearly as breath taking as in college and NFL. In HS, he didnt even look like the fastest guy on the field. Something changed dramatically once he got to college or the film out there on youtube doesnt do him justice.

Sims reminds me of Vince Young more than Lamar Jackson Long striding quick runner big arm
