Jeff Sims

Is there any truth to this rumor that Norvell didn't want him? Seems far fetched given his size and athleticism. I'd guess Sims was alienated by the firing of Taggart.
Yes. I think he was already flirting with GT, but FSU definitely cut him loose. That was obviously a terrible mistake.

Hard to see from that angle, but it was actually behind the receiver. Camp made a tremendous play on that. Still great game from Sims, and the sky is the limit, especially with our running backs making the defense defend all aspects of the offense.
No. Camp made a good play. It was in the catch radius.

Just like the FSU te on their first TD. Oh, wait. Their only TD.

He looked good to me, and I'm an asshole naysayer who has maintained for a decade we couldn't get a player like him.

That said, Bilbo looked good too, and similar, and did similar things, such as firing bullets, completing nice passes, scrambling well, and throwing the ball to the other team.

So I'm cautiously optimistic. I'll definitely watch the next game, that's for sure.

No. Bilbo was never that accurate, and accuracy is the second most important quarterback attribute.
