Jeff Sims

Does anyone here think Sims was actually injured/hurt before the game? That could explain why his throws were so off.
Didcha see his laser accurate pass just before the injury? That pass is very unlikely if injured.

Besides Sims, does anyone know why Devin Cochran or Clayton never saw the field ?

Coach said in today's presser that Devin Cochran was the offensive player of the week. And had the highest effort score recorded during CGC's tenure. About 30 seconds into the presser.

Let's lay off Sims.

We don't know what is going on. I have no reason to think he didn't give his best last weekend and may have been limited in some way.
Why is his best not even close to being decent? Yates is small in stature compared to Jeff and he came in and killed it...... What is Coach P seeing in Jeff that we dont already have? The elephant in the room is, its CGC boy and we gotta roll w him, I'm a fan and am tired of losing, surely the players are 1000% more, just put the best guy in that gives us a chance to win.... F*** the stars behind his name, and as stated already ATL is pure B.S as we cant let a team know about a injury but CGC will put the entire teams info out WEEKLY FOR EVERYONE IN AMERICA TO SEE.

AJC article says Sims is expected to play vs KSU.
it's behind the paywall except for one sentence.
I'd rather have Yates

No I don't.
Watched the press conference with Coach C today & am trying to figure out why he likes Sims so much. He hardly acknowledged the contributions of Yates particularly early in the presser when he was talking about the guys that played well last Saturday.
His continued propping up of a player that turns the ball over quite a bit makes me think he cannot appraise talent.

Oh.
My.
Goodness.

He's....I don't know- a psychopath? Not sure what the right term is. He literally believes he didn't call a TO on the FG and change the play due to the booing from the stands. He thought we had "a packed house" there (33k of 55k is NOT packed)....he thought the game was 0-0 when we honored the basketball team and then Sims got hurt? We were down 0-14. He thoughts Sims was playing great when he came out? I don't call 3/8 and 21 yrds great.

He's insane- he's lying to himself and believing his own lies. This honestly bothers me more than losing. I wouldn't want someone like that in a position of responsibility if I depended on him.

Just say we didn't play well- I'll take the blame- didn't coach well....apologies to the fans...stay with us- we'll get it done.

It isn't that he doesn't believe he didn't change his play because of the booing, it is that he is unwilling to admit it.

Even in the first game, he said in his interview coming out after halftime that Yates would start initially. Thus implying that he would get replaced at some point. He doesn't seem to like Yates at all.

He actually said he thought Sims played well. Sims is his star recruit. Yates is not his recruit. I'm surprised Yates hasn't transferred yet.
