Kids dont love it

For a senior, this doesn’t help the team or them at all. It’s just a distraction. So makes sense for them to not be jazzed about it.

I blame Collins if the players are disgruntled. He should've addressed them, explained the situation, owned his failure, and told them not to blame anyone. Instead y'all know he was a passive-aggressive ass. He probably told him how much he loved them and played the victim.

While in school my favorite professors were the ones that didn’t push me as hard. My least favorite were those that I had to work my butt off to succeed in the class. Guess which ones I appreciated after college?

Collins is the easy professor. That’s not love, it’s coddling. Love is seeing potential and working the team hard to realize it, both for their current and future success.

Read Dontae Smith's tweet. He's just thinking, how does it help us the rest of the season to lose our coach? He's not thinking about the bigger picture--it is important to move fast on AD and coaching searches to get the right people in place.

GT has a strange us vs them mentality amongst its football players. We need an AD that recognizes that and addresses it.
This came across in the election crap back in 2000. Felt like they hated the fans they had.

He probably didn't address the team. That's Frank and Brent's job.

It’s always good to listen to the whining and crying of children who have been spoiled for the last 8-10 years of their life due to their athletic prowess.

We are going to have a full on revolt and likely be bad for the next few years. The players loved Collins. We probably should’ve let the season play out and even waited until January to fire him.
Didn’t they give him a trophy on the way out? EVERYBODY gets a trophy these days I’m told.

One of my granddaughters (yes, I’m an old fart) has like 4 big honking rings for winning their league postseason championship tournament various years. In addition to trophies for 1st through 3rd place in regular season (in a six-team league). And a ton of participation trophies for earlier softball & soccer seasons.

I have one trophy for winning our league championship. Nothing for second place or division winner, nothing for making all-star team. No participation trophies. Things have definitely changed.
