KING OUT? - Nah King is back baby.

King is certainly the more experienced and excellent at pulling the ball on the mesh. He's also very elusive. That being said Philo made a huge pick up of a first down with his feet. He's a good enough athlete he's going to only improve with experience. He still is learning and fires the ball with a little too much zip when he feels pressure. Again, that will improve with reps and the game slowing down.

He can run, but kind of like when you're running to get back from commercial with a fresh drink in your hand. It ain't pretty.

Going to need to incorporate both QB’s on the field at the same time in Athens. I think the game plan yesterday against Miami will work just fine against NCSU.

How many times did we have both on the field together? I remember the trick play but don’t recall any others. Agree that it would be a nice wrinkle.

King can still pass. Just not deep. I loved it when we had both QB's in for a play. That's another wrinkle that can create confusion for the defense and possibly open up a big play.
I’m not convinced he can. Did he throw a pass further than 10 yards in the air? I only remember one throw past the LOS, and it wasn’t far.

I’m not convinced they were on the field at the same time intentionally. There was confusion. Philo was running off as Haynes ran on, then he got stopped, ran back towards huddle, then stopped and turned back to run off then got pushed back to the huddle. He lined up as a tail back and the fake hand off was silly. He wouldn’t be able to pass off the hand off. It seemed like a mistake not a trick play.
I do believe we need to basically have both on the field for the whole game to make this work in Athens.

I agree. Haynes immediately left after that play and had his helmet communications device worked on. I think it stopped working and he was supposed to come off the field, but didn't know that until too late.

I think it was on purpose. Reason is that after they were on field together, Philo had to run to sideline to get a radio helmet. Only one on field allowed at a time.

Why does the Miami game depth chart list Pyron ahead of Philo? Watching the game, that seems incorrect. I suppose the depth chart said King OR Pyron, then Philo, so it's technically correct. :lol2:

Philo has played in 3 games. 2 games remain, plus the bowl game. I wonder if preserving a redshirt year ever factors into the equation…

He will go to the highest bidder. This will be his best/last chance to make some cash as a QB, so he'll have to take it. Oregon can throw Nike money at a new QB every year. He would be a good fit for their offense.

Do you need me to send you his crypto wallet?

Auburn, ND, FSU, Miami will all be looking for QB’s this offseason. I think King stays though

No chance. He's not going to get any massive offers, and he loves the situation here. We'll be able to put up the money to keep him.

He will go to the highest bidder.

I hope you are right. I don’t think you are tho
First you make a definitive statement. Then you admit to having no clue.

How many times can a player transfer?

though, if there is money involved (e.g. NIL), it does make sense to either have a contract or let the player transfer multiple times...
