Labor Day game - How bad is FSU

Castellanos quote is pretty telling: BC had this game circled all off-season. Tough for FSU to be coming off a hard fought loss into this buzzsaw. Poor scheduling by their AD. Never should have agreed to the Ireland game. I think they’ll bounce back similar to Clemson last season and end up ranked. No playoff though for sure.

FSU beat UF.
Wake beat Vandy.
Miami over TAMU.
UNC over South Carolina.
FSU over LSU.
Clemson over South Carolina.
Clemson over UK.
UK over UofL.
Ole Miss over GT.
uga over GT.
uga over FSU.
Tennessee over UVA.

So Clemson, FSU combined for 4/7 wins. UofL losing to UK was a very bad loss. Biggest wins were LSU, UK.

Fact of the matter is ACC had best OOC P5 record last season and it’s undefeated conference champ was left out of playoff for a team with 1-loss. The powers that be want 2 large conferences full of stud programs. Paying for Wake, BC, GT, Cal, Duke football is losing money.

Why not agree to Ireland? Two ACC schools they can easily handle.

FSU collapses against GT like they used to collapse against DaU back in the day. Hell, without a play or two, they collapse in the 2014 ACCC against us

I do think if Smelter were healthy, we win that one

The parallel is auburn 2005 season.

They came off an undefeated 2004 season then lost their first 2 out of the gate, gt and Reggie ball playing the role of bc last night.

Its happened before, and all is not lost, except their pride

So if they play this year, the game between UF and FSU could be marketed as the "Battle for Best of the Worst" in the state of FL.
