Yates should probably start, but the coaches will go with Graham because the game is on the road and he has experience. We waste 2-3 offensive series and go down at least 10 points before bringing in Yates to finish the game. Final result doesn’t matter. 0–1

UCF we let Yates start but Geoffrey and Pnope’s game plan isto bring in Graham for the second quarter regardless of Yates is doing and decide on a guy at half. Yates finishes the game. 0-2.

Cuse. Yates starts and Coaches plan for him to play the whole game, maybe bring in graham for certain packages. coaches actually keep Yates on short leash and throw in graham for a few series after Yates makes one mistake. More qb flip flopping.0-3

Lville. Yates plays 75-80 percent of the snaps and plays well. We waste 2-3 drives with graham bc ATL philosophy. Close loss. 0-4.

Clemmons. Yates starts and plays until 3rd quarter. Losing by 28+ at this point and Gleason is brought into finish the game. 0-5.

Remainder of the season Yates starts and Graham is emergency backup if the games are close. The games are not close. We bring in both freshman for 1-2 drives in a few of the remaining games.
Well aren’t you a ray of sunshine

I found the dwag alter.

According to some guy on one of the other boards Tucker is starting with a package for Sims.

do I have a source or know if it’s reliable? no.

KQ told everyone Lucas Johnson was the guy last year FWIW.
Lol KQ doesn't know a damn thing about football. If people are predicting starters based on his analysis, they better not put money on it.

My sources confirm that KQ knows what is going on with the coaches and has been repeatedly rebuked for leaking information granted on the condition of confidentiality. This is not good. Now FSU has almost two weeks to prep for Gleason - there is a ton of HS tape on this guy who is from Florida so FSU coaches will have no trouble obtaining it. C'mon guys, we are 11 point dogs - do we really have to give FSU even more of an advantage?

Blackman has been FSU QB for like 10 years now so we have all the video we need on him

First of all KQ doesn’t know and specifically says that. He has an opinion and that’s it. If FSU is prepping for the game based on fan message boards they are more messed up than kt seems from the other stuff that has gone on this off season.

OP said source was some other guy on another board, not KQ.

Based upon watching Tucker Gleason here locally for a while, I can tell you that kid was highly underrated by this board and it wouldn't surprise me if he has turned heads this fall camp. That kid has a big arm and is probably the most polished QB we have. I honestly dont know much about Sims but he did have a UGA offer + other power 5 (as a QB?) so he is clearly talented. The thing that worries me about dual threat QBs, though, is many times they are highly rated due to their athleticism but they are not ready to play QB right away. Look at James Graham. 4-star kid but he has been very erratic at QB to this point. Yates, by all reports, looks like he is below average physically but so was George Godsey and he turned out okay for us so I am not writing him off just yet.

Just two observations: JG wasn't recruited as a QB by anyone but us - a coveted athlete but not a coveted QB. Not sure how to interpret the Godsey assessment but I can tell you this: back then, the football team had a thing whereby each player had to run for 12 minutes. The challenge was who could run for the most distance over that 12 minutes. Answer - out of 85+ athletes - think back to our roster at the time - Godsey won first place. Kid was way underrated as an athlete.

Bottom line: you just never know.

Can we please stop using "physically challenged" or anything else to describe a player. Joe Hamilton was "physically challenged"......It's really about performing on the field. Unless they are trying to get rid of Yates, Coach P shouldn't say anything similar either. (p.s. I am physically challenged hitting the golf ball but shot a sweet little 73 on Sunday in my tournament. Hit four greens in regulation....It's about performing, not how long you hit it off the tee!)
