Tashard Choice Gone

And I didn't say Choice sucks. He did not craft GT getting good running backs. We have always had good running backs at GT. The best being ELI, Dwyer, and Lavette.

Wish Coach Choice the best he was the one I didn't want to lose.

Dear USC we had a 2 for 1 sale you took Coach Choice so now you get Coach Thacker for free please send a moving van.

Where I think we went wrong was trying to implement the Collins plan without the financial investment. We essentially tried to be a poor man's Clemson, but there is no such thing. So Collins tried to will this thing into existence through sheer force of hype. I actually think we are making some of the right moves now, but it may be a day late and a dollar short.
We all made fun of Dabo for being a clown and then hired an imposter with antics exponentially worse than anything Dabo ever did.

He would have been out at the end of next year anyway
Yep. Our new OC had better open things up, Key better find some blocking, and I don't see how our secondary could possibly be any slower and out of position.

We need to become a portal team for the next several years. Bill Snyder survived decades at Kansas State off of castoffs to Jucos. The new hotness is looking for a solid player to come in for a year or two.

Great move for Tashard. His career is on a nice trajectory, and getting to learn under Lincoln Riley is a huge next step. Hopefully he is back at GT in the next 10 years.

TC was a great hire by Geoff. Hopefully they can identify some new young coaches under Long that bring the same piss and vinegar to our program.

Yes. The coach of our ONLY good position group and best recruiter is leaving so it’s sunshine and lollipops from here on out. Moron
It’s literally amazing how much bind loyalty the imbecile has among some of our fanbase. As long as he’s running around cheerleading all is good. The results on the field do not matter. Now we lost our only decent coach, the only piece a new guy would use water to save out of the dumpster fire.

Good luck Choice, the morons you left behind never deserved you. Come back after the implosion and really help us put it back together.

We could throw all the money in the world at the imbecile and he’d still fail. He does not know how to run a major football program. I’m not sure he could run a D3 program.

You're delusional. Choice is gone from Tech forever, he quit.
Let me tell you how this is gonna go.

We fire Geoff in about 53 to 54 weeks.

After he successfully drove the program into the ditch and being so cash strapped, we make a budget hire. We flounder for another 3 to 4 years. Meanwhile, Choice is soaking in leadership and tutelage from a real college football coach.

He’s hired head football coach of Georgia Tech either 2025 or 2026.

Would you come to my Christmas party and spread some of your cheer? The Grinch.

No honor in leaving after 3 3-win seasons. Choice leaves Tech as a loser.

Sadly he does leave Tech as a loser, as will most others associated with this stretch of the program. But I don't think there's any dishonor in it, nor is he himself a loser. If you want to work your way up the coaching ladder, you need to take opportunities when they present themselves, especially when you're just a position coach. Being RB coach at USC is a fantastic opportunity for him and the type of job that could lead to an OC position in the future.

Choice performed at a high level for us for three years. Our running back room was the best part of our program since he's been here (arguably the only good part of our program), and he was an integral part of that, both from a coaching and recruiting perspective.

I thank him for the time he's spent here, wish him well at USC, and hope to see him back.
