uga indicted the GT 'hacker'

Now I want to see someone actually hack the UGA computer system and really start ööööing things up. Show those dumb ass inbred pussies what a real malicious hacking could do. öööö you mutts.

This would be glorious indeed

I donated to his defense fund and I'm good with him "keeping the change", both as compensation for his mental pain and suffering and for payment for his good deed in the name of GT.

Same here

This is a really bad idea. It wouldn't do anything to help out this fine gentleman, and the costs for clean up for a public institution would come from state tax dollars which could be going to GT instead.

Destructive retaliatory hacking would undermine the argument that what he did was a harmless prank. (Which from all that we know it was.) Also two wrongs don't make a right. Just because they did something malicious doesn't mean we should do the same. If GT's website got hacked by a UGA student, as embarrassing as that would be, I wouldn't want ridiculous felony charges pressed against them.

If we stole the unnecessary support beam (the T) inside of the arches, there would be no structural damage though . . . . It might even educate Georgie students on the nature of an arch.
that "arch" is going to present the ultimate conundrum to their so-called engineering school and their school's icon.

we have the same arch, you know that right?

The GoFundMe campaign says that proceeds beyond legal costs will be split equally and donated to GT and UGA. So if the campaign is not fraudulent, he will not be benefiting from his alleged criminal act.

I know you're joking, but there hasn't been any evidence made public that North Korea hacked Sony. Just a dubious, evidence-less claim by the FBI.

Thanks for letting me know about the campaign. I've no problem with that.

And I was joking. I don't trust the FBI or any of our politicians to speak the truth. Pressure was on FBI and administration to find a culprit and they picked a most believable enemy, but have offered no proof.

In my opinion, as someone who has no idea how to implement destructive retaliatory hacking, any destructive retaliatory hacking should happen after the dude is cleared.

Considering that CNA/CND are one of the biggest investments that the DPRK and PROC have, it wouldn't surprise me on it was a state actor.

Do you even 80k? Worried about $1/page?!

Well I'm not sure there are actually any interesting documents at this point. Might just be mundane court filings. If I understand correctly, a prosecutor presented evidence to a grand jury, which issued the indictment. The indictment may not contain details of the investigation. Too much effort vs. possible entertainment value
