Wes is assuming that these guys took the time to ask CPJ about the actual game, rather than the rivalry. All they cared to ask him was "How big is the game?" rephrased six different ways.

How does it rank against passed big games?

(I've not been a Tech fan long enough to understand the big games of the past)
 
Not to downplay anything that has been said, but I think the goal every year should be to beat UGA that last game. Recent history shows that if GT wins that last regular season game, then that is a pretty good measuring stick regarding how the season transpired as a whole.

Darn Right we can beat UGAG 50% of the time!

They may have depth stacked 3-4 deep, but you can only put 11 players on the field at the time, and we can come close to matching them on any given Saturday, man for man, with who's on the field.

If PJ thought that he couldn't beat UGAG as many years as he loses, he would not have taken the job. I'll guarantee you that. We may win Saturday or not, but over time, PJ will win at least half his games, because he knows how to coach college guys, and he knows how to install and teach execution in a system that will give us the advantage.

Period. Take it to the bank. UGAG dominance is fixing to end.
